I know this is an old video and probably no one will read this but crimeiny unsubscribing because of the door bell and phone? What a puss. Good riddance and don't let the youtube door hit you in the ass! Eric I'm old and have worked on my cars forever because family finances required it not because I enjoyed it. Still now in retirement I can pay for all my car work but I still do lots of it myself. I've learned a lot watching you. Plus it's enjoyable. Seeing you with your family reminds me of me and mine back when I was lots younger. Keep up the good work and keep youtubing.

Good ol stubborn 02sensors, just a q about them 5. 7 vortecs got one that had cam to crank sensor communication failure if the wires and the sensors are good what would be your guesses? It's a 97 and about everything on it has been checked n fixed only thing coming up is the cam to crank n feels like a missfire and most the time not all the time feel, code comes up shortly after clearing it, I don't have all the top notch tech tools but maybe you have already delt with the cam to crank disobedience

I have. 98 Silverado 5. 7l. New distributor. Crank sensor plugs wires and pcm. Keeps frying coil packs and icms. Had it in a shop and they adjusted timing. But didn't fix the issue. Showing cam crank correlation code. And crank sensor variation not learned. Any help is appreciated

Again, there are 55 total idiot down voters here. Who are these creeps? I watch many great videos and there are always down voters - like they could do better. I wish one of them would reply to me and then I could drive him to rage, that is something I am good at.

love the show and watching your expertise. But I was stunned when you mentioned your hourly rate. I figured being in the NY area it would be higher than here in the deep south. going rate in 2020 is 90/hr. you are one hellva bargain considering your diagnostic ability.

Years ago when check engine lights first appeared there was a sleazy used car lot in my area that would use a tiny drill bit to drill through the plastic instrument cover and into the check light bulb to in effect, turn it off.

Guess you left out the part about the two female connectors; in this video the one small female connector is laying on the paper towel when you snap the TPS sensor is installed back on the intake housing; what's up?

I really like your (long) coiled-wire test light Scope on a rope. I have my old original Snap-On (about 45 years old) with (short) fixed-length black wire. What test light is that and where do I get one?
