Hey Eric! Hope your family is doing GREAT. I've got a '11 Traverse and the thing has been flawless! [Yeah, I'm surprised, too! ] Just wanted to ask; do you think I have a very rare one? Which is to say, it hasn't broke down yet? It's got 125k miles on it. But it runs and drives like it's got 10k on it! Comfy, quiet, rides and handles pretty good. And boy, she got some beans to her, too! Just curious, is all. So I came to the Car Jedi to get his rough opinion. Take care, hope that eye heals up quick!

Funny enough for my 2006 Chevy HHR it was the gas cap LOL. Figured that out when putting on the gas cap it would just spin and spin and never click. Replaced it and yay it spun and clicked. Also after clearing the EVAP code it never came back and this was 5 years ago. So from time to time it really is the gas cap: )

Once on my way back from Virginia Beach I had to gas up in dirty jersey they striped my gas cap no aftermarket would seal it had to spend 50 at a chevy dealership on my 04 Monte Carlo

Just make sure the Got Dan Gas cap is on tight! So many times I had one at the dealer or on my own junk was a loose cap. If the gas cap O ring is not messed up looking its fine.

Great video. Mines an Acadia and seeing that air box in view reminds me that changing that air filter is a quite a feat in itself and would be a good how to video. Its madness!

P0496 purge valve every time. Replace them all the time. The only evap problem I've seen on the traverse, Acadia and Enclave oh and the Outlook.
