I bought another model from the same company about a month ago (DS300 vs. your DS350. It was 80 plus the state's 4%. Looks like the specs are the same between the two, but mine didn't come with a case. Chassis is slightly different, but form factor is comparable.
Nice little scope. I was surprised by the image quality and lighting.
Instead of removing the little velcro straps, I just slid them all the way up to the end away from the camera. Out of the way, but still perfectly functional. I may find more use for them than you, since I don't have a case.

Arthritis sucks, my brother had a condition called Dupuytren contracture where your fingers start to curl towards the palm. It starts in your 50s but didn t affect him till after he retired at 66. He was a stationary engineer, I m a diesel mechanic so our jobs involved a lot of hand use. It s genetic so at 55 I have that to look forward to, but I haven t noticed any issues yet. He had surgery on both hands and with therapy he has better use of them now. Enough of that, that bore scope looks way better then my wireless Snap-on one. I ll have to check one out.

Nice piece of kit there Eric, the camera lens sure gives clear pictures, this is the kind of modern technology that we un the trade like, your hands are working mans hands, we dont sit behind a desk pressing buttons all day, we do our job, do it right as well as we can and have abused our bodies fixing cars for years, get Mrs O to give them a massage and cream them, it works wonders, take care

Really loved the review Mr O, great detail. Sorry to hear about the Psoriatic Arthritis being in flare up. I hope they have you on a good DMARD to help. I know how painful it is having had Rheumatoid Arthritis since 18. I feel your pain. You look after yourself you hear? Here's hoping that they are getting it under control very soon. Anyway, another great video. But I've come to expect that.

I don't have your health issue. But I do a lot of my own auto work. That as you know leaves me with stained hands and nails. Also I don't sit, trim, clean and polish my nails like some men do. What I think is if they donrvlike the way my hands and nails look is don't look at me at all. Keep up the good work! Don't let idiots bother you.

Jeez I wish my 4, 000 sewer camera had a side view camera! C'mon Ridgid! Isn't your electronic junk made in China? I want a see snake with a side camera so I can see all the poop and the broken pipes at the same time! It would be great for Orangeburg pipe. I don't think you guys have that stuff over in western NY.

I just got the Depstech DS500. Only turned it on for a short while, so I'm in learning mode. I'm going to try it on my chipper/shredder to inspect the cutters, the flails and other parts. Hopefully a few minutes inspection with the camera will beat over an hour of teardown, inspection and reassembly!

Thanks for the review on this Mr. O. I was checking one out on the Snapon truck. It was to justify 800 for there's when I've seen them on the Amazon's for a lot less. Wish they had them with a little shorter cable though. I guess you can offer free colanoscopy with every 5th oil change.
