Can anyone enlighten me how come the privileged ones that can buy this car get the full access to a top speed of around 4 times the legal speed limit, basically they get a racing car legal for road but they are not legally allowed to race it.
While we the poor struggle to be allowed on an electric mountain bike capable of over 30mph and it's legally required to be limited to half speed!
Also, if I get it derestricted it gets even confiscated, I get a fine and points on my driving license meaning I'm risking never ever to drive a Porsche!
Insane how we're stabbed in the face and just take it!

I think porsche making a hybrid 911 is a cool idea and I really like it. But they should still make some normal engine cars too.
Edit: I saw a guy saying the politicians won't allow it soo. maybe they should just stick with the hybrid and dont go to fully electric then its fine for me. I mean I wish They still make engine cars.
Edit 2: stop. Im not saying hybrid was in all variant. I'm talking about the car in the video. >:. : )

All Chinese electric cars kick the a$$ of those Porsche’s, when the hell they’ll realize this and start to match up at least. if they can do less than 3 seconds, then it’s not impossible to do it to those heritage new old Porsche’s I’m a Porsche owner and I feel bad when I see the cheap Chinese cars kick our a$$’s and they pay quarter the price we do pay

Porsche probably invented never touch a running system.
I really wish Lamborghini built the best functioning supercars, given that they're the most astonishing to look at both from the inside and outside.
911s just aren't special. even as a kid, when I wasn't yet into cars, Porsches were just part of traffic. I saw a few every day.

one of the few automotive name plates to be in production for more than 60 years the next to reach that milestone will be the Toyota Corolla in Nov 1966 for Asia and July 1967 for US/Canada for 1969 model year my godfather had a Porsche 911 turbo from 1978-1988

Can someone explain to me how this is a hybrid There’s no electric motor driving any wheels. The battery is just for the turbo spooling and transmission Just sounds like they added more electronics but this is hardly a hybrid. Am I missing something here

A GTS turbo swap for the base 992 has been a thing for a while now. It may only produce 9 more HP in the factory 992. 2 base model, but that's without an ECU tune. The base 992. 1 with a GTS turbo swap and a tune was capable of producing over 600HP.

Good engineering feet. Saw you on Porsche Official Launch with Mark. What ever the Version the 911 will always remain timeless. The performance with the new configuration is mind blowing. Wait for the Turbo S.

You couldn't even properly see the grille on Porsche's stream so they were definitely afraid of how it would be received. Personally I like it and think it differentiates it from other 911s.

I have been waiting for a base 992 for almost 1 year now and I was told it was going to be a 2025, I have to say I don't like the starter change and the display but it is what it is I guess

I always thought a small electric motor for instant torque combined with a gas engine was the way to go. Just give me 2-3 seconds of instant torque and eliminate any turbo lag.

All these new features like fishy gills and airo rims are needed for the future pure electric 911. Now they make the customer get used to if look wise at least, haha

Maybe it will grow on me, but I prefer the looks of the 992. 1. Oh well, I can only afford a Hotwheels toy version of any of these, so it’s all theoretical.

already waiting for the 992. 2, 5 cause they need to change those exhaust tips, they should get just 1 clean piece instead of this weird exhaust cover

I wonder how much more this cost and how much it'll increase the msrp. The current cost is an arm, and this new tech will cost an and arm and a leg.

Absolutely terrible redesign. Looks exactly the same as the old one except for the fins in the grille, which are not evenly spaced.
