Get 20% off Car Vertical using code Carwow: It’s time for an almighty SUV drag race! We’ve got Yianni in his all-new Lamborghini Urus SE, and he’s facing off against Mat in the Porsche Cayenne Turbo e-hybrid, Tomi in his Purosangue, and Sam in the RSQ8 Performance! But does the all-new Urus have what it takes to snatch the win Let’s take a closer look at the stats. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor to produce 739hp and 950Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 2, 495kg. As new, it costs around 166, 000. Then we have the Urus. Like the Porsche, it has a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor, and these combine for 800hp and 950Nm. This is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it’s the heaviest car here, tipping the scales at 2, 505kg. It has a price tag of 208, 000. Up next is the Purosangue. It’s powered by a 6. 5-litre NA V12, and this creates 725hp and 716Nm. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it’s the lightest car here, at 2, 150kg. As new, it costs around 313, 000. Then finally we have the RSQ8 Performance. It’s packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, and this creates 640hp and 850Nm. This is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 2, 275kg. As new, it costs around 140, 000. So the Urus has the most power, but will the huge weight prove decisive There’s only one way to find out LET’S RACE! Thanks to Yianni & Tomi for helping to set up this race: - Yianni: Y14nny - Tomi: tomi-auto Subscribe to Carwow Drags: Carwow-Drags Mat’s Used Deal: BMW XM v Urus Perf v SQ8 v G63:

To be fair, Yanni us actually 100% correct. DON'T BABY A CAR FROM BRAND NEW! It's a myth! The car is run in for 100s of miles on full throttle WHEN IT'S BEING BUILT because if it wasn't, it would just blow up. It's a technical get of jail free card clause for manufactures where they want you to use the car across all the rev range. That's it. Get the car up to the correct temperature first before you hoon it, get it nice and happy and ready to go, and you'll be absolutely fine. I've done this for every single new car I've had over the last 10 years and they are still, all running, perfect and have no lost any HP. Just service them properly, and let them warm up and oh use 99 ron fuel all the time in anything modern. DONE. You'll never have an issue.

I wonder if Ferrari will come out with Perfomante version added Battery hybrid system but using a Solid State Battery for weight savings! The Porsche and Ferrari really put a smile on my face! The Lambo and Audi are just a tune away from being too similar. The Porsche is just more refined, and the Ferrari the least practical one just made the best sounds, no turbo no electric motor and it performed so well! Not even lunch control its just raw power no gimmicks!

You don't know the cars very well or you are just plainly incompetent. Drop the rag and drag. No excuses. Whoever crosses the line first wins. It's not rocket science. Teenagers all over the world could have completed 10 races in the time it took you guys to complete one legitimate race. We need to know which cars are up to it, which ones break down, we don't need to know which is the fastest under ideal perfect conditions.

I’ve watched god knows how many of these drag races. They very good, this one especially. What a shambles at the beginning very funny.
I do also feel you need another camera on the other side of the finish line or drone above the line to get a complete picture of what came in what order. Sometimes it too close to call from the one side.
Just a thought.

Audi wins stop lights to stop lights on the road, every time. Porsche consistently. boring. Ferrari wins on the race track, and oddly enough, on the German autobahn. And Lambo. typically, all flare, no scare! Or, is that just a Yanni prob Put Sam in the Urus and Yanni in the Audi. see what happens!
Point being: #nazisalute.

it's not the first time that the thesis is confirmed - that a ferrari is not for driving but for the ego of the owner who keeps it in the garage so that it doesn't break down after a week of use. it costs the most and goes the slowest. hhahaha just like always.

A 22 min long blooper real and still have no idea which car is better. Also give the car’s some respect and call them by their actual name’s. It’s funny one or two times but think it’s silly and confusing on which you’re actually referring to. Lame and repetitive video.
reply

8: 33 the Audi came first and second lol
But really. the VW came first, second and third.
Still though, always bet on Porsche. They always hit above their weight class. Even if their competitors are just other iterations of itself lol.
Definitely my fav of the group.

I would have enjoyed this video so much more without the hysterical guy in the Ferrari, screaming like a schoolgirl in a cheerleader competition. Also is anyone else bothered by the fact that cars that cost way over 100K are having all kinds of issues
reply

Damn. what pain in the ass those car with a lot of eletronics to make a simple launch control.
Miss old days and manual car without rev soft limit and this boring launch control stuff.

reply

That Lambo got its ass whipped everytime! I thought the new one was suppose to be way faster Guess not! That Ferrari aint shit either. All hale to Porsche! What a beast!
reply

Exciting lineup! Curious to see how the Urus SE stacks up against the Purosangue and others. Let’s appreciate the engineering behind these beasts!
reply

I remember the time when I was kid there not many Lamborghini. Today they are everywhere but not that's the problem. They all look same like kia sportage.
reply

So what did we get from that video if you want to buy an oversized overpriced suv that makes you look like a dealer or a client don’t buy the Urus
reply

Best sound, best engine lightest car and most beautiful one is the Ferrari. Better reaction time and some racewheels she's the fastest too
reply

5: 40 my GOD that sounds SOOO insanely good, I don't know how to explain it but the exhaust Stuttering sounds like music to my ears, I love it
reply

These videos are getting unnecessarily absurd. BTW, black dude is absolutely clueless, results would have been different with another driver.
reply

OMG! It's shocking how the Purosangue is outgunned by the turbocharged cars! Should have included Aston DBX! Its the prettiest super SUV!
reply

Best car out there, AGAIN, is the Porsche, best value best launches and best looking. just after the Purosangue of course!
