I understand the negative comments and the general feel from Mat.
But i still seriously considering leasing this Vignale.
I don't think its fair to compare this Mondeo with the BMW's (3 series) or Mercedes C-Class.
When you look at the price range (in the Netherlands for that matter) its more in the range of the Skoda Superb's top range, the Mazda6 GT-M, the Passat Highline. Renault Talisman's top range and KIA Optima GT-Line.
When you compare this car with those cars, it isn't that bad.
A fully loaded Vignale with the 210bhp Bi-Turbo cost around - 53. 000. A Passat HighLine with compared options cost the same. But only comes with a 150bhp diesel.
Ok, interior quality may be better on the Passat and Superb, but the Mondeo isn't THAT bad, right?
Also the comment -The Titanium version with similar options cost less. But the Titanium doesn't have the 210Bhp Bi-Turbo.
Honestly, i'm not a Ford Mondeo fanboy. Far from that. I'm driving a BMW 3 Series now, but need a bigger car due family expansion: -) and i like the Superb Sport-Line and the Mazda6 alot.
Still have to make the testdrives in all 4 cars. But in this case i found myself in need to -defend- the Mondeo Vingale a bit.
So Mat, how a bout a Quatro test video like you did with the Premium Coupe's recently. But now with the above mentioned cars?

Why do companies like Ford waste their time to send cars, to so-called reviewers like these? They are generally very dismissive before they even step into the car and frankly they present the reviews very unprofessionally. The reviewer came across, brash and uncouth yet he calls out a Mondeo for being pretentious? Irony has been lost on this reviewer.

The mirror and especially the light/rain sensor behind it looks like it could get in your way a lot in terms of vision. Just looks hideous imo
