The Tokyo Motor Show has always thrown up weird and wacky concept cars in the past - and 2017 was no exception. All the major Japanese manufacturers packed their stands with cars and more, ranging from models that look like they could make production, to the bizarre futuristic creations of a designer who's eaten too much cheese before bed time. I roam the halls of Tokyo to bring you the bold and the beautiful stars of the show

I quite like the idea of a manual shift patten on an auto box. As the issue with autos, even with paddles, is they arnt instant. However manuals arnt instant, but it takes says 1s to clutch, change, depress clutch. So in reality the slow auto change is quicker than a manual, but as all you do is press a button, the miniscule wait feels an eternity.
So by adding physical movement into the equation, it may negate that eternal pause feeling.
I'm really interested I'm taking one for a spin. A manual is always more fun, though an auto is nice for the majority of mundane driving.
Interesting indeed. For me at least.

i really want to meet the Design team of Suzuki Motor! Then i want to meet those who approve of such designs. And i want to give them some new design tools, and snatch away their right angle tools with which they design their cars. These are horrendous looking cars. Its like they are determined to achieve the highest number in Wind Tunnel and in turn make less fuel efficient cars!
matt seems to be having a good time with the Show girls: -P

Mazda should really make the Vision Coupe to replace the current Mazda 6. And they should also supply it with better and varied engine choices than the current Mazda 6, ranging from a 130bhp Turbocharged 1. 2L 3 cylinder to a 300bhp Turbocharged 2. 5L 4 cylinder. And maybe throw in a 450bhp Twin Turbo 3. 0L for the Mazda 6 MPS with 4WD and a Dual Clutch option. Ahhhh, the dreams. Sigh.

Well, I think the next Toyota JPN TAXI is still much better than the Crown Comfort which is majorly used for TAXI in JP and it is from the early 90s
btw don't forget there is Fiat Doblo taxi in the England as well lol

Lol did not expect to here European political correct in this video. Ahahaha let-s just stick to the cars. No need to apologize or hold our western elitist standards to another culture.

do not use UK PC judgments as they are not applicable in Japan's culture - your impressions are irrelevant - ask them questions then listen and you will begin to understand: D

Someone's gotta explain why on earth I'd wanna have displays with any sorts of messages outside of the car, seems pretty dumb and certainly doesn't look good in my opinion.

So what's my verdict on the girls?
Should you:
- avoid them
- consider them
- short list them
- or should you just go right ahead and buy them?

Does anyone else agree that the Lexus LS+ Concept has a similar body style to a Porsche Panamera? Referring to the image at 2: 58 and mainly the rear quarter.

That haunches on that Subaru concept are reminiscent of American muscle cars and some Italian sports cars of the same era. Love that look.
