Thanks for all the comments guys. I-m Sam the guy doing the driving. I have seen a lot of comments of why do in the wet? Conditions are irrelevant if both the cars are in the same conditions. The wet is an absolutely amazing challenge and also shows the difference in chassis dynamics. When a car is under load it behaves totally different in the wet to the Dry.

Of comments about me missing apex-s - I was infact taking apex-s but they were what is commonly known as the wet line. We take a wider line to reduce the amount of steering angle which let-s the front wheels rotate more freely. Both cars were awesome and both had pros and cons as do all the cars I drive. Opinions are just that and it-s one persons preference and perspective of the car they are driving. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have -

I feel like the M4 is better in straight line speed, but the M2 is better when it comes to handling/steering/cornering/fun since the M2 is so much smaller and lighter. Both are just as good and have great performance, just comes down to what you want- the M2 is best if you want that classic BMW feel where you have the perfect balance of crazy speed and driving fun/handling. M2 with a manual is one of the best enthusiast and track cars out there.

The M2 comp produce 405 bhp (410ps) but some are showing over 420 bhp standard on a dyno - l think Mat would have won that drag race if he had DCT instead of manual - must admit l would struggle to choose which one - l love both of them! Keep up the good work -

Please can someone help me, I-m wanting to buy a bmw m4 but I-m at conflict with what to choose between that and the m2 or m3. it is my first car and I can drive and will attend advanced driving courses but I don-t want to buy something I will regret

The second thing i did with my M4 Competition was an exhaust kit and the PIECE DE RISTANCE wide Michelin PS4s. you can squeeze 295 on rear and 285 on the front. The tires made all the difference for this car and you can finally put the power down.

The M2 is defined so M4 stays faster, since M4 is more expensive. But both can be tuned up to 800 hp. Same engine fifteen management software. I-ll take the M2 comp. faster on twisted roads. Short and wide.

Anyone who owes a hot BMW knows they love to slip and slide on a greecy road. Lots of fun but somehow manages to keep you out of trouble even with traction control off.

I also tracked mine pretty much all day at VIR and had about a quarter tank left and the gas indicator was telling me i had about 0. 1 miles left in the tank haha

I know it's the UK, but this test would be a lot more interesting if done on a dry track. Not everyone in the world lives in a rainy climate.
