I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1. 5 seconds for the speed to start going down) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead.

Best all rounder would be a/s 4 avant. I'm not sure what kind of a person you have to be to get audi 4/6 saloon. Just make no sense.
Than again, there is a reason why saloons are dying.
Day to day you want something practical. Easy to park, cheap to run with the odd capacity to load say a fridge. For the weekends you want something nippy and fun to drive. Needles to say that is not a saloon either in daily live or weekends.
BMW 3 series were fun in the days they wasn't the size of an old 5 series.
Modern cars make little sense. But if you don't have 5 acre gated mansion with garage bigger than a 4 bed detached house, I don't think saloon is the right choice. But that's just me,

Only an Englishman would compare a diesel saloon to a gas one and declare the diesel the winner. if you are gonna compare diesels compare them but the reason he did not is because he wouldnt get his cheque from BMW if he brought the supersport 2. 2 from Alfa as the ALFA MULTI-JET TURBO DIESEL blows the doors of everyone of these cars because they do not know how to build performance diesels. and if you buy performance saloon based on the boot. you need help. this is whey the ENGLISH are laughed at all around the world as they have never been respected and will never be because. WELL. they're ENGLISH: )

I bought my Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport 2 months ago and I am just in love with this car. I am a driving purist and I put driving at the center of my needs. 50-50 weight distribution, carbon fiber drive shaft, excellent ZF transmission, balanced chassis, limited slip differential that makes it so easy to rotate the car in turns, 305 ft pounds of torque, and best of all, delivers the most precise, communicative steering since the days when BMW actually made drivers' cars. it is incredible. I keep looking for excuses to drive it and every single time I step out of the car I have a huge smile on my face!

C300 in Australia is near on $100k AU. Have driven it for a day. The interior is a riot. The mood lighting is epic. What is an utter rip off apart from the price is you get a high strung 4 cylinder turbo engine.
For $100k a 6 cylinder at the least. Own an older C300 and could not wait to get back in it as the V6 when loaded up with people still pulls like a train.
So many recently new C300s for sale in Australia as people realise they spent $100k on 4 cylinder car.
Australia is a complete rip off for cars, luxury tax makes the prices for anything European unjustified.

The quality of materials in Volvo is just better than the cheap cracky shit you get in a mercedes. (and ive been a mercedes fan for a while now. After driving the glc, c class and the s60, xc60, ive realized theres no comparison. Volvo offers comfort and safety like no one in the price range. Plus not too many mechanical issues. When it comes to BMW and Alfa romeo and Audi, they are absolutely gorgeous. BUT you will become best friends with the mechanic very quick. Plus i dont know why he rates cars based on how sporty they are. The s60 and c class are luxury cars not sporty

Been driving the 330i for the past year and a half, and its sublime, very comfortable, and its a car that lets you drive it how you want it. You want to comfortably cruise at 90 mph on highway? Go right ahead. Oh you want to take a twisty road at 60? Please, x drive will save your ass. More than anything it literally outperformed a Honda CRV on a mountain road, while it hit another car straight in front of me, my bimmer just slid through the entire situation. Made sure everyone was alright and then went on my way. Great car this!

I own a 328i and a S60. The BMW's has superior handling and feels very solid on the road. However, the sport package makes it ride like a bucket of bolts, feeling every imperfection on the roads and things are breaking all the time. - The S60 imo, is better looking, rides very smooth and has much better seats. I will never buy another BMW again. S60 is my new favorite now.

Great review as usual. I like the fact that for boot space, you take in consideration all the things that people actually use it for like a bike. I did have those cars in my shortlist but at the end I sacrificed the not so good boot space and ordered the Giulia Veloce. Really loved the test drive

After having driven my mom-s 2019 Giulia with the 200hp engine and the 8 speed auto box i-m madly in love with it, the handling and the overall feel is so damn good. I REALLY want one now. I-d have the 280hp engine though, that would be so fun
