I hate to say it but this is proof that China is progressing far faster than the western world in terms of economy and development. All manufactuers flocking to sell their cars there, and larger, more premium business like cars at that. Wheras here car companies are down sizing and pulling out of certain countries and selling cheaper, cost cutting versions of their cars (Ehem, Golf Mk 8.

Actually many of these cars are not exclusive to China. The Hyundai ix25 is known as the Creta also and is sold in other Asian countries too as well as Latin America(and the KX3 is sold as Seltos in many other Asian countries) The Kia K3 is sold in South Korea and the Americas too, but known as the Forte. Same with the long wheelbase BMWs.

Arbitrary fact: Horch is the name of the Audi founder, August Horch, and it also can be read as an imperative ( Listen! , from horchen, to listen ) In German, so when he couldn t use it to name his car company for trademark reasons, they simply translated it into Latin Audi! is Listen! in Latin.

Fun Fact: All the Europeans in China have super high quality like they donot cheap out in even a single part because people view all of them as a luxury & there is no room for cheap plastics. Encountered this with the Mercedes models. No cheap plastics

The Kia KX3 is known as the Seltos.
Recently, Kia launched a facelifted Seltos in Korea, and there is an AWD version making 198PS.
Europe is pretty much the only area where the Seltos isn t sold.

There is much better more affordable vehicles that we don t get that we are desperate for like the 70 Series & 8 seat SUV s with three in the boot. It s hard to find anything suitable in the UK.

Would love to see the 6 seaters in the UK. Also more automatic sliding doors for the back doors. It's really annoying that we don't get more MPVs. They are more comfortable and practical that the SUVs.

Most amazing and interesting thing about these cars are the ridiculously low prices! You'd be hard pressed to find that 3 row VW for no less than 50k in uk if they had it!

I would definitely buy the LWB version of the Skoda Octavia vRS. The UK vRS Octavia is a bit cramped in the rear, but I still love it. Why don't we get LWB anyway?
