It-s time for another carwow estate drag race! First up you-ve got Mat in the Volvo V60 T8. It-s got a 2-litre turbocharged engine up front, along with an electric motor at the back. Combined, they can produce 387hp & 640Nm! As for the M340i, with its 3-litre straight-six turbo it-ll put down 374hp & 500Nm. And then finally we have the Audi S4, which has a 3-litre V6 diesel (-) which can produce 347hp & 700Nm! So the M340i may seem down on power and torque compared to the competition, but it does have one advantage- It-s the only car here with launch control! But will it make a difference? You-d better keep watching to find out!

This Volvo is definitely the definition of idea that sounds good but didn't work in real life
Turbocharged + Supercharged + Electric Motor sounds awesome but the car turns out to be too heavy, didn't improve the fuel economy, big ass transmission tunnel holding battery, mediocre electric driving the rear wheel and not a real AWD. But all is forgiven for its innovation and the lovely interior.

The Volvo is plenty fast enough and can achieve something like 150mpg and drive 30 miles on battery power alone. If you worked 10 miles from home you could travel to work every day for pence and still have a car that would see off most average cars. As entertaining as the Carwow videos are, the viewer has to remember to look at the bigger picture.

In my opinion, I don-t see the point why a car like those on the video should have launch control or have a fast acceleration for drag races. For god sake, these are wagons and never in your life, you are going to use a launch control when you are going to work or when you are driving with the family. Those ain-t sport cars.

For economy modes of V60, 0-100 could be 5. 9 s, as far as I know. However, if you select -power- mode, it could be as fast as 4. 6 s; Faster than some other PHEVs like BMW 330e (1. 75 tons) / MB c300e (1. 85 tons, you know. BTW, they are still slower than some EVs like Tesla Model Y Performance (2 tons); 0-100: 3. 3 s.

I miss when audi was sort of niche with the s variants of their models. Bringing higher performance at a lower price point without being hard edged or blisteringly fast. Now everyone else is doing it too, they even copied the awd. I think audi is ok sitting at a lower price and offering comparable performance tho

I love the Audi but its not my cup of tea. I love the Beemer based on its performance and appearance. But the Volvo is my favourite. Whilst its not the best in terms of performance, it's the most aesthetically pleasing inside and out for me.

It-s really disappointing the consistently poor performance of the v60 because of how good it looks both interior and exterior. But the performance does not live up to the price of it compared to other cars in the same price range.

I personally really do not like the modern day Volvo's. I absolutely loved them in the past. But since they are all Chinese made I simply don't feel like they have the quality they had in the past. But maybe that's personal.

I believe that Mercedes makes their car specifically to beat Audis in the same class. What is Volvo doing, suddenly their cars are better. They are out of the hands of Americans I assume
