This is the Citroen Ami Buggy! This wild set of wheels may be one of the weirdest (and smallest) cars Mat has reviewed on our channel. But even so, that won-t stop him from giving it the proper carwow review treatment! So, what exactly is the Ami Buggy? Well, it-s meant to be a more rugged/extreme version of Citroen-s small city-goer, the Ami. It-s built on the same platform as the regular Ami, so it still puts down 8hp & 40Nm of torque. It-s only got a top speed of 28mph, and it should have a range of around 50 miles. However, elsewhere there are a whole load of changes! The Ami Buggy comes equipped with off-road tyres and extended wheel arches, while there-s also a roof spoiler up top and a full-length light bar! It-s only a concept for now, but the question is, should the Ami Buggy go into production?

Two things; One: If you have to have a proper drivers license to drive one in the UK, then they should raise the speed limiter to 40mph (they can actually go even faster, all the limiting is done in the inverter, and Two: what about having entirely removable doors? The plastic screens are fine for summer, but the other half of the year (in the UK at least, it might be nice to fit the doors back on.

I live in the USA. Auto makers think all Americans want huge SUVs. Even VW bringing the ID Buzz to the US is getting a bigger one. All I what is a good little EV that doesn't cost $50000 plus. I would really love something like this particular little car. Put some doors one it and I would buy one.

Do like the look of this compared to the standard but really should have full doors. Problem is the 28mph limit. Yes, don't need to be on dual carriageway or motorway, this is pure city driving but some of the roads here are 40mph. Limit it to 38mph and it'd be perfect

I love it, I would drive it, but I would get the model with doors not tents. And I do hope they upgrade the steering wheel so It doesn't feel so much like a Kinder egg and up the speed to 60kilometers pr houre. I think It would be a great city car.

It would sell as a town car if it had a 50 mph top speed, better torque & a
50 mile range would be enough for a town car.
People take the mick but if its pouring with rain and you got offered a lift 99% of people would be happy to climb in.

I've just watched the film ''WILLOW'' and trust me, that 'car' would be an absolute gem of a 7 seater SUV, for the little people. Failing that, the umpah lumpahs from The Wizard of Oz. (If they are on a tight budget)

it certainly looks better than the standard Ami version without a doubt & would probably sell a lot more than the standard Ami. Certainly looks a lot better, if its not raining that is.

There is the Wuling mini EV in China for about the same price but with 40HP and much better equipped. This EV out sells Tesla and the young people love it that has become so trendy to modify.

The best thing about the ami is I standard form it is virtually a concept car going to market. This is no more ridiculous that a range rover bring using on a school run in a city

This looks like something for disabled people. This would be an amazing market for that purpose as I personally lost my leg and this would be great for zoom around town: )
