Bit of fun I know but who really needs a Raptor in the UK with Fuel prices as they are? realistically its a pointless vehicle more so in Europe unless you own your own oil well and have pots of cash to be able to afford to run one, the Ranger will always be the realistic option for businesses in the UK, the Raptor is the sort of car my middle aged Dentist would drive so he could swank about looking like a complete tosspot in

Surely you should have done a transit pickup tipper, not the standard van?
Not impressed Matt, go back to the drawing board, two things don't make sense.
First one, why not use the Ranger Raptor?
2nd why not use the Transit tipper pickup? It's the same size as the F150 too (actually slightly bigger, so the obvious contender.

The first tug was basically a drag race, on an snow-covered frozen lake between an AWD Audi Quattro with winter tires and a RWD E90 BMW M5 with summer tires. Basically nothing in favor of the poor van.

In any tug of war on grass, it tends to be the best tyres that win (supposing there is some weight on them. When on a surface that isn't so friction limited, it is weight over the driven wheels that wins.

LOL! I wasn't a total sh-t-show because the Raptor just put the gear into Drive, took his foot off the brake, and enjoyed a cup of tea & biscuits waiting for you to suffer slow defeat.

All this test are in wet ground, go and look for a peace of ground with no water at all and it will be a different story for all those cars full of mud in the wheels.

You should do one of these 'tug' tests on tarmac. I guess you won't because it'll probably fk up the vehicles involved but ya know. prove me wrong or right

how can starting in second gear better specially in tug of war. This contradicts the whole concept of lower gear being more powerful. same goes for low range!
