Mathew, disappointed by your incorrect indicator usage at 10: 42. It's better not to use one at all instead of misleading. For those that want clarification. Tesla should have engaged the opposite indicator to announce its leaving of the roundabout. The way it was done in the video misleads the oncoming traffic into thinking the car is staying on the roundabout so they slow down to yield, instead the car exits. You can see at 10: 45 the truck brakes, it is probably because he thought Tesla was going to stay on. Disappointed Mat

carwow at 04: 50 you say the sound isolation is improved when using the horn. This is incorrect. The horn comes out ot the AVAS speaker which is located under the front bumper. That s why the sound of the horn feels different (further) to your ears.
In my old 2023 M3 it s exactly the same.
Tesla made changes to the horn profile with approval V26 which is from Q3 2022.
The horn we know has been eliminated and instead of that Tesla is using the AVAS speaker.

I don't know about the model 3; still no adaptive suspension, no matrix leds, no drivers display or heads up display. It took them 6 years to actually make a facelift. In that time other manufacters are doing a facelift and release their next model. The biggest letdown for me is that they're not even built in the eu. Still a good thing that they're addressing the biggest two complaints by their buyers comfort and insulation.

I owned a 2020 M3 and got rid of it after about six months because my family refused to drive in it, due to the dreadful suspension. Also when driven with any passion the suspension would go from jittery and awful to floaty and downright frightening. Pity, because on other levels the car was brilliant, especially with infotainment system. I'll be keen to go back to the dealership now and see if things have improved that much.

You cannot in any way compare this to an EQB. the prices are so far apart (over 10k more for a base EQB. Let s keep it relative and realistic please shall we. I think we can all accept that this is quite frankly unmatched in its field / price bracket and other manufacturers need to be EXTREMELY worried about this car.

It s a lovely car. In another colour other than white. In white it looks like a fridge freezer and I still don t understand why you re allowed to use a giant tablet whilst driving but not your phone. If it was 20 grand and had a range of 400 miles. It would make a lot of sense. But it s over 42K. Which is insane

I have no doubt that it is better but it looks like a Chinese knock off, but I guess when you are selling a couple models that look so similar and you sell millions of, you must update for a life cycle impulse as bmw says and it works because it has already dated the previous model

Seems like you held the pad in your hand during new car decibel test and on the bench during older car. There is the element of structural/mecanical noise that gets transferred to the mic when on the bench. It should easily cause the couple of decibels of difference.

Maybe the answer is 'because Europe. ' but the question is why compare it to BMWs and Mercedes. team Hyundai hasn't fallen behind, have they? They've been putting double windows and low price tag on their cars evr since they started making electric cars

Too bad you compared it to the pre facelift m3, the model 3 after 2021 was more quit and dhould be used as a benchmark. Also consumption seems the same as the old model, so the range is the same in real world

Of course they gave you the old 2019 one to compare
Did they say something about the front camera we can see on the photos and the website but that's not here on your pre-serie model?

it's very noisy, especially at speeds over 100 km/h, wheel noise, external noise, internal noise, you have to raise your voice when you speak. in conclusion. very very NOISY.

For the moment I don t think they can sell this car because of American regulations the rear lights cannot move. They have to be fixed on the body and not the boot

It does not make sense to measure the overall sound pressure across the entire frequency spectrum. I wish testers would stop that, and get some proper equipment.

Considering you are comparing the noise levels to an EQE which is 100k more and built for luxury talks values of what Tesla have done for the sound levels

Warning: the following is a subjective opinion.
Sleek but uninspiring.
Also: bless you, Mat - because the driver didn't say diddly squat.
