Drove my first new M5 from era. Belonged to a friend, I was rather impressed when comparing it to my new special ordered Lexus IS300. While the IS300 had beautiful design elements such as the Rolex like instrument cluster, a great shifter, good handling and felt rather lightweight. My friends M5 felt like a tank, in a good way, very solid feeling doors, impressive interior in it's own right, beautiful exterior, the massive separator was the power and performance. That M5 V10 made the 2JZ 6cyl IS300 feel as slow as a Civic, lol

I'm not at all impressed by such programs. Destroying cars will only interest English pathology, teenagers from Benefit Street. You would impress the viewers by repairing these cars, showing how much it costs to repair such a car and giving it to someone who really needs a car but doesn't have one. Someone who has to take their child to hospitals and can't afford a car.

I just sold my 745i in Australia. Beautiful car, but every time I drove it I was worried something might break and break me. Champaign taste on a beer budget. Also in Australia, the rego for 12 months was $1200 compared to 450 for a 4-cylinder.

My neighbor has a first gen LS, he’s an idiot and I highly doubt he does anything to properly maintain and care for it, but the car’s still running strong. That says something about Lexus quality

Hell yeah! I was getting a bit tired of the non stop drag races. Need some more of the offroad hijinks, stress testing to destruction, and other shenanigans kinds of videos please!
