Thanks for bringing this oddity to our attention, but you've been too generous with the 'practicality' and 'value' scores. Both should be '1'. The only things it can do that it was intended to do is look cool and maybe tow heavy stuff. If you load the bed, it will rub on the tires. If you go offroading, the bed will rub on the tires. The bed is too high to load manually. You can't park it anywhere, and it gets terrible gas mileage. It's not practical at all, and it doesn't give you much function for 150k. Shouldn't handling be a '1' too? How much worse would it need to handle to drop from a 2 to a 1? It would have been good to shoot some exterior shots of this thing on the road, so we could see how it looks in traffic with normal-sized cars.

I was actually lambasted by a poster for saying that I love the f650. He said the usual shite about parts that are Chinese and you know what, I dont give a shiny shite because it wouldnt matter if it had parts made in Outer Mongolia Id still love it and in a closing note Ill repeat my previous words, Ford f series trucks are built in a way that others wish they could. PS, if I had the money Id have mine painted in under seal or line and flat black interior with easy wipe surfaces and in right hand drive. Ford rocks.

I gotta say one thing tho. Thank you to the F-650 owner who saved my buddies truck from getting sucked out into the ocean at high tide on Naknek back in 1999. We had already been through all thise lesser trucks trying to get us out of the sand. ONLY this monster could pull us out. That was the first time I had ever seen an F-650 and that one did have a crane type apparatus on the back. I am still in awe everytime I think about yhat truck. So MASSIVE and so CAPABLE. CRAZY TRUCK FORD Good work.

I gotta say one thing tho. Thank you to the F-650 owner who saved my buddies truck from getting sucked out into the ocean at high tide on Naknek back in 1999. We had already been through all thise lesser trucks trying to get us out of the sand. ONLY this monster could pull us out. well, I mean, driving it as you did, and giving it a Doug Score with all the other cars is like having an athletic working breed dog like a lab or collie and comparing it to the purse sized pooches and saying how ridiculous it is to carry a full size lab around in your purse. i know, bad analogy. but I wish you could have towed something to really see why this thing could be special? it needs worked, like a working breed dog.

If I bought it myself here I'd have them to put a duo range six speed manual transmission in it and it would go alot faster than the one that you tested out for the show there too that thing is basically a big truck without having to have the cdls to be able to drive it too cause of its size of truck id love to have it to work out of myself here too its a damn nice truck right there now

I think there needs to be an asterisk next to the statement, Ford F Series is the best selling pickup in America. GM sells more full size pickups, they just split them up between gmc and chevy (literally the same trucks.
