Another great review, the Chargers aren't just built in Canada, but assembled in Brampton Ontario (My home Province) I always thought the fenders were physically wider, I'm intrigued it's just fender flares. I'm surprised it has 305mm front tires and from what I can find, it has them on the rear too-it's not staggered width-it was cool to see an original 06 Charger, I was 21 when they came out. It's neat that-like the SRT-10-it has a less expensive interior to get the price down for the big engine, although I agree, for the price the interior could be better, I also agree that when these get to the 20-30k used market, we might be seeing more fatal accidents from inexperienced drivers. I wonder if Dodge/FCA will do a complete clean sheet redesign of the Charger for 2021?

Sometimes having basic things on a car instead of all the cool bells and whistles is a very good thing. Electronic parking brake will fail before an original one. Flashy lights in your door seal? Is that really necessary? I think they skipped out on some features that really aren't needed or do anything for the car. I would have never noticed the trunk popper had you not said it. Which lasts longer? Manual operation stuff or Electronics? If you look into the past, cars with very little bells and whistles are highly sought-after like the 1le.

Or Bear with me here You could just put your foot on the accelerator, while your other foot is on the clutch. Edit 2. The features of this car are already outdated. And most of them are useless. The parking brake is ridicoulus, and limits your options of uses with it. And it is also an automatic. Its scores on my scale: 3/10. I would rather drive a van.

I own a 2018 Charger scat pack and I understand its a fun compromise package kind of car. But I wish it came with led interior lighting and buttons for the heated/cooled seats and not through the infotainment screen. Car had a sticker price of 46k and my old 2016 autobahn VW GTI had these things (except cooled seats) and its sticker price was 11k less. But it also had half the horsepower and an engine 3x smaller. My GTI also had more headroom than the charger which is interesting. Im 6ft 5in.

Not trying to defend Chrysler about being cheap in certain areas as compared to other 80, 000 sedans, but you have to cut a few corners to keep a car with 707hp at that price range. 707hp is supercar territory. Not that I can afford it, but 80k for over 700hp from the factory seems like a good deal to me. Edit: should've watched a further into the vid. Doug just said exactly that. There's a trade-off getting 707hp at that price.

So the 82k is only for the big engine and exterior body styling. A typical Hyundai Accent, Chevy Cruze, Nissan Versa and Mazda have better looking interiors and all under 25 k. They are not performance muscle cars but worth your money. Those rich enough to afford this will use it to drive around town and not even to the track. Personally I'd rather buy a 50k Stinger GT. Cool exterior and interior but less horsepower.

USA needs higher speed limits, we need autobahns. All these super powerful cars, great chassis, with the mid engine New Corvette coming this year it makes me cringe when I think about US road system and the average speed limit of 65 mph which is the speed I reached on my bicycle on the slope last summer. Otherwise there is no point in buying these cars. If we build enough support we will affect politicians

7: 20 yes Doug you are 100% right about the car is cheap. If you ever drive a 392, you will forget all about stuff like that. Driving a 392 is like having relation with very hot smelly female. You really don't notice how bad it was until you have gotten out of it.

It's a normal truck brake, you press it with your foot and I like it better than a button or a hand lever that takes extra space. my 2011 Ford Edge has it and my old 2004 Hyundai XG had it too. It's really weird trying to drift in snow with it though haha
