The 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is an ultra-luxury SUV. Today I'm reviewing the Cullinan Black Badge and I'm going to show you all around the ultimate SUV. Then I'm going to get it on the road and drive it, and show you what it's like to drive the Cullinan

Ahhh another Rolls Royce video where the spirit of ecstacy dissapearing feature needs to be described yet again. Doug, the retraction part makes it so that the hood ornament is always concealed whenever the car is turned off, so when you park it somewhere there is nothing for thieves to even grab onto. The part where it automatically retracts, is a feature meant for pedestrian safety in case you hit someone and they bump into the Spirit of Ecstacy - here it is ment to retract without causing further damage to the person. It's the same reason why at one point the Mercedes hood badges were wiggly on a small pivot point, but later on they did away with them all together because pedestrian safety rules became too strict. So the auto retract feature on RR cars is not to prevent theft. The theft prevention merely comes from the fact that the Spirit of Ecstacy is always retracted while the car isn't running. So it's a two in one feature. I do however see that the first 10 google search links provide a bit of misinformation and they all treat the quick retract feature as anti-theft because that's what popular to think and it sounds more interesting than pedestrian safety.

Honestly though, 480, 000 dollars is extremely chill eap for a Rolls Royce with that level of features & luxury. Especially if you compare this one to previous generations with way less features that cost the same. Rolls Royce is smart. They added more features for a similar price as the ones before to maintain quantity with their customer base. Very intelligent thing to do with production long term. Thats where other competing companies struggle a bit. They begin to make their new innovative productions not worth it anymore. Or they create something new that they cant build on.

Cheap gimmicks that youve already mentioned in other RR CARs. you took your shoes off because you HAD TO. picnic tables, seen it other videos. cmon Doug you need to stay away from high end BS and get back to things we wanna see. how about the mid level cars that ACTUAL PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BUY. Were not all rich Doug. not like you.

Reviewed back in the UK by one motoring journalist & he couldn't get it out of his head that it was very close to the design of the new London taxi. that would put me off. not that I would buy one even if I could. Sure all the oil rich will have them seen as they are aimed at them anyway.

Screw a nice 4 bedroom 3 bath house with a garage and a nice yard in a decent neighborhood. I'll just buy one of these and live in it. Lmao. Hell probably bigger and nicer than most apartments these days anyway. .. I don't think the bank would let me mortgage a Cullinan. Lmao

LOL I had mentioned at the beginning of the video that looks like a station wagon and then at the end of the video you said it was based on their car which means its a station wagon. You got to make some rap lyrics out of that. He said he bought an SUV and pulled up in a station wagon

When Doug hit the gas it appears to jerk/hesitate a little, I know the gears must be tuned for quiet engine so low RPM but once he hits it. It could be more refined I think. The Porsche Cayenne does none of that and at 550HP is not that much different power train.

Doug, I love you man but there's something off about your reviews latelly, I've never before found myself skipping through them but they are getting a little borring. This video for instance could easily have been a 10 minute one on MoreDoug

HIDEOUS. It will probably go like shit off a shovel, but the problem is that it looks the shit on the shovel. Ironically, the best place to be is inside it. That way you do not have to look at the bloody thing.

They could have gotten rid of that red line across the suv and made the paint matte black or something better. The screens in the back look outdated, we live in 2020 plus it's 500k. I've seen better technology.
