Have you not reviewed or driven a 944? -Because the quirks that are identical to the 85. 5+ 944's. Also, if you compare the specs of a 1987 951 (turbo 944) to the 968CS, the power specs are reversed. 240hp/220ft-lb vs 220HP/240ft-lb for the 951. They both weight pretty much the same as well. Torque is what gets you up to speed, and the turbos can be tuned for more power. I'll stick with a good ole' 944 thank you. =)

Remove the rear wiper and plug the hole to save weight. Delete the radio to save weight but leave the aerial on the roof? Why not delete that too and plug the hole in the roof. Reduce a smidgen more weight and reduce drag. Overall design and visuals are reminiscent of a 928 - front and rear lights especially. Only worth the money if somebody is prepared to pay it. Definite track day car if it were cheaper.

I love your videos Doug but you should care more about people outside of America. You talk 10 minutes about weight saving but I cant truly imagine how much that is if you say weight at the beginning only in pounds and dont even put subtitle how much that is in kilos. But yes, sometimes you have brighter moments when you write torque in Nm: )

Doug the 968 is (still) one of the best handling cars ever made - did you even take any fast corners in it? Yeah it's a bit of a lug around town with slow steering, heavy clutch and not quite enough power, but at highway or track speeds the car really comes alive and is very responsive. Been waiting - thanks for showing the 968 some love!

924, 944 and 968 all have one thing in common. They are all cheap German junk. I wrenched on these for years so I know this first hand. The continual crying from customers made me hate these cars. Everyday I would hear, Why does the clutch cost so much? Why does it shift like a truck? My answer, Buy a 911 and stfu already.

968CS had massive Club Sport decals that ran across the lower half of each door. these decals were a delete-option but most have them. With billboard ClubSport decals on the sides of the car, I guess Porsche figured a small 968CS on the rear end would suffice.

I sold my yellow clubsport back to the previous owner after having it for 5 years, and he still has it and takes it on trackdays regularly. It is such a superb car to drive on British country roads, and I do miss it greatly. Damn responsibilities!

Doug s tongue is oversized by about 30% I d guess. The energy coming out of this guy is so far from my frequency. I m only sticking around because I ve never seen this car before. But I can t say for sure I m gonna be able to handle the entire vid.

So it has a smaller battery than the standard 968, it had a smaller alternator than the standard 968, it has smaller wiring than the standard 968, so I guess the owner of this porsche has a smaller %#& than the average porsche owner
