The W211 and W212 were better, less weird gizmos and high tech crap that will break and also better motors! There was V6 and V8 motors available in the base models, now here is these sad 4cylinder turbo motors. And the whole car is like a rolling iPad. I only want a large engine, nice materials, wood trim and a hood ornament, from the tech stuff I only want, automatic ac, power seats & mirrors, mood lightning, bluethoot and a good sound system.

Wow, some genuinely interesting engineering: best 3rd row solution I've seen. Mood lighting, massages, and oh god, the fragrance, does that really sell cars? If so it might say something about the MB buyer. I'm glad you brought up the price at the end, gotta say I can't agree it's a lot of car for the money, but I was watching and wondering if you were going to mention it was a very well optioned top of the line (non AMG) model.

Don't have to shake the wheel on Tesla either. Can use either scroll wheel (I usually just quickly scroll volume up one and then back down) or press down on the right stock. Or keep your hand on the wheel in the right position and it will rarely ask you to Shake the wheel.

When I was a little kid, I used that cigarette lighter for car and I burned all the leather interior of my father FORD ELITE CAR 1973! Because I thought it was more pretty with burn circle on the leather! My father was chasing me around the house with the broom!

The rear-facing 3rd row of a station wagon was THE COOLEST place to sit as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s. I thought that auto manufacturers stopped doing it because of regulation of one type or another, but love seeing that it's still a thing!

Certainly a great car. Would probably choose this over an equivalent SUV. Or perhaps the A6 Allroad or the V90 CC/V90. In Europe you can get the V90 (not CC) with the T8 power train, strange that isn't the case in the US.

Great, piano black all over that steering wheel so it can look ugly after 5 minutes of use. Also why touch sensitive buttons? Just another thing to go wrong and break. And what if I want more precise control over the volume?

I think you should mention that you are referring to the us market when talking about what Mercedes sells and what not and the changes. Yea, Mercedes only sells wagons in all-terrain shape. but that's only true for us.
