Why Rent a Normal Rental Car When You Could Have a Jaguar F-Type V8 S?

A lot of people freaked out when I said I was renting a car from a random guy through a service called Turo. So I compared my rental with a normal rental car. aaron dahm: I have to say that turo is pretty cool. BUT it is quite expensive. People are juts trying to get reach by renting out there car. You can find some good options but what really is annoying is this: for about 90% of the cars the owners of the cars on turo list the car, like e. g. a BMW M 4 for 170 a day. So you could be like, cool that's a lot of money, but it's worth it for an M4, you can pick up your date in it or whatever. BUT in 90% of the cases, people only include 100 miles. And that does not even take into account the milage you have to drive to pick up the car and drive it back. In many cases you need like somewhere between 30-60 miles for that. So then it just becomes so much more expensive because people charge usually like 1 per extra mile. So that's why I haven't rented from them yet and I find this experience just very untransparent.

Compares a almost 500 horsepower 100k+ car that has been babied, that he's paying much for from a guy who either has too many cars that he doesn't drive or who lost his fortune and needs help paying the bills to a used and abused entry level American sedan which he paid much less for. loved your Murci video though, keep it up, it was more fun when you were with Jalopnik

Hey Doug. We will be in Santa Barbara as a stop over during our cruise next month and looking to rent a car for the day. Enterprise has an exotic car rental along with its standard fleet. Is this a good way to go? Looking at a BMW Z4, Audi, Mustang GT convert or Challenger SRT. Would Turo be a better option?

Doug, does the jaguar have 4 seats NO. Does the jaguar costs 60 per day to rent NO. Is the jaguar more practical NO. Does the jaguar offer built in WiFi NO. NOBODY WANTS TO RENT A CAR FOR 300 YOU IDIOT. PLUS THOSE PEOPLE ARENT WRONG. YOU CAN GET A CONVERTIBLE FROM A RENTAL PLACE FOR 65 OR MORE

I. am. offended. As an owner of a 2015 Chevy Impala I believe it is a great car. Not so boring, roomy, has plenty of power and gets descent fuel mileage in the city and good on the highway. My brother is 6'3 and he fits just fine in the back seat. I can haul 3 bodies in the trunk very easily.

Because normal cars are cheaper to rent and majority of people are poor or living average lives? You can rent a cool car for a weekend (i've done it twice and it was awesome) but if you need a ride for a week or more and are an average guy you have to rent something cheap and boring

Jaguar, an expensive NOISE polluter. If I were president of this country I would have noisy exhaust BANNED in the USA. We should NOT have to hear a car's exhaust from across the street or from almost a mile away. That's what I hear every freakin' day where I live in Florida.

V8 S? Huh, I thought the S only came in 3. 0L supercharged V6 / 5. 0L supercharged V6? Is it different in the US (Im from the UK? Because, to my knowledge, in the UK, the F-Type R & SVR are the only variants to come with a V8.

Why a Chevy over a Jag? EASY. I'd rather DRIVE a Chevy than PUSH a Jag Don't you know why Jags come with a heated rear window as standard equipment? So your hands don't get cold while you're PUSHING IT HOME

Should compare to something different. I mean you can get better brand cars from a rental place and narrow the price differential a little. First video I disliked of you sir, dissapointing
