Congrats Doug. You cannot kill that thing!
I've owned Toyotas, Fords, Chevys, Mercedes, Nissans, Audis, & Mercurys. And I'm currently driving a Tundra & a Lexus SUV. and I'll NEVER betray Toyota again! They aren't perfect for sure. but for RELIABILITY, it's Toyota forever.
Just change ALL of the fluids religiously/perform the usual maintenance & never look back. Congrats again on becoming a Father!
EDIT: BTW, Toyota has pretty much abandoned timing BELTS ever since the late 00s on all of their vehicles. And of course, your 2013 has a 'maintenance free' timing CHAIN. Again, a great choice!

Pearl White with Tan interior 200 series, exactly how I bought my 2014 LX570, took me weeks to find one with radar cruise(not standard on LX) and had it shipped from Georgia to CA. I wanted a land cruiser but they were 8k-10k more, plus living in CA you get influenced to having flashy things so it was kind of a win win situation. Still want that exact refresh LC one day

You should ve got a dark interior because that beige is gonna look disgusting real soon. believe me I had a light Interior. and it is hard to keep clean especially when you gonna do the things you say you re gonna do. you should ve gotten something dark. outside color is beautiful. But the inside good luck. And congrats on your new child. and on your new vehicle

Translation: #1: His Land Rover was starting to rust.
Translation #2: His wife said, I'm not putting our child in that thing (Land Rover.
Translation #3: None of his cars are the least bit reliable.
Sorry, Doug. Just having some fun at your expense! Good luck with your new Land Cruiser!

Out of curiosity, did you look into the 5th gen 4runners. I live on the Cape, and the 4runners are becoming as common as the wranglers out here. I have a 4runner sr5p because of my dog and I do a lot of driving on sandy neck all year long.

Doug doesn't think the LX570 in that generation is comparable; but what he identify is important in his Landcruiser the LX has it. It just doesn't have the clearance, but Lexus did it better on all level on this generation!

13 Vehicles on that Doug Score sheet. Out of which 4 are LCs, two are 4Runners and a seventh one is a FJ Cruiser. Shows how much Toyota dominates the large offfroader market.

It's not that Toyota cheaped out and made the V8 logo one piece.
It's basic courtesy to all the dealers and parts shops that don't need to stock on two separate logos.
