Still, this seems like a really poorly designed car to me. It looks really bad, but let's ignore that. Electric huge SUV, with small cargo space in the back and front that is basically u
seless. The whole point of electric car is to have performance and a lot of space, which Tesla nailed here. But hey, at least they press leafs to make an illusion, that they are doing something for environment.

From the side it looks like a new Hyundai (which is great for Hyundai, imo there cars are refreshingly attractive & quirky) but for a BMW not sure that s a great thing. The kidney grille continues to be so out of control like a caricature. That said I should prob watch more than the opening now; )

On the new EV s you often hear car reviewers highlight how the infotainmentcenter is fast and responsive, while its clearly lagging. Why these infotainmentcenters have to be so far behind even just mid-tier smartphones is beyond me. It s basically only Tesla that gets this right.

F U G L Y. BMW has lost it's way and I have owned them since 1991. I will stick with my Z4, take care of it the best I can and hope it lasts. With all the chip shortages and little choice on how you want your car configured, now is not the time to buy a new car.

I actually likes car. Yes the exterior is hideous and the grill is silly, but I still think that it is a good car. Nice interior, good range and styling inside. If the exterior styling had been a bit more subtle it would be a great contender to the Model X

BMW design has been really bad in the past few years!
At least they are getting theit sh t together on the interior department!
Maybe in a few years they do the same on the exterior design and we can all have good looking BMWs once again!

Looks like they ripped off General Motors in design then wants to charge 100k, sounds about right for modern luxury cars. With EV s, you re better off buying a middle class brand. They all look the same and have almost identical features.

Isn't it that the grille isn't decorative but that it has sensors in it so it's more that it's been repurposed. I think a better move would have been if BMW had continued with the design language of the i3 and i8 and evolved those designs.

Unlike the tesla, you're going to have a lot of dealer support. There's going to be less quality control issue returns and certainly when you have any kind of little fender bender or bump it's not going to take you 6 weeks to get the part
