Here's Why the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Is Worth 215, 000

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 has retained a lot of its original value. So I drove one to find out exactly why this is. Bill Morrigan: Thanks for a good, truthful review. So, seats are not aligned forward but skewed to the center. What kind of joke is this? Also the hand brake looks like a joke. This Lambo still looks kinda ridiculous. Audi failed to solve all this nonsense and drawbacks the Italian brand had. Open slats leading to the engine? -- Nice if it doesn't start raining suddenly Only as late as Gallardo was released all this crap was corrected. So, Aventador and Hurican don't have any catastrophic drawbacks anymore and are arguably the best sports cars with a few remnants of impracticability still lingering on even in the Hurican. Looks like Gallardo and now the Hurican are much closer to the Audi R8 which means they are much better than their slightly bigger models (Murcielago and now Aventador, as the bigger models didn't receive a perfect template from Audi. I'm not saying Audi is better than Lamborghini. All I'm saying Audi is a very big company. They did well in Le Mans series. They pushed the technology ahead. Created an almost perfect R8 but the styling IMO was lagging behind. In the past Lamborghini was a small brand and they were not perfect in implementing certain decisions. They were more appealing to styling and panache. In fact they still are but they are a part of a bigger group now. It should help create perfect sport cars. Every year I grow more and more distrustful of Italian manufacturers and the practices they employ. Germans don't evoke all that distrust and negativity, and although most reliable cars are Japanese IMO, I'm still partial to Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and Audi. I would trust German and American quality more vs Italian quality. So much hype and panache in Italian cars while in reality. [don't want to use expletives here]. Bottom line: it's better to buy and an old Porsche or Corvette than a show-off car with misaligned seats and other serious problems unless we are after showing off only.

Lamborghini slowly grew up when Audi took over. The Diablo was still insane and badly builtThe Murcielago is better, safer and more mature but still a true LamboThe Aventador is a well made car with modern feats and little to no fear factor left, making it much more accessible yet a bit less special. The next one will either KILL its competition by being close to perfect OR KILL its driver like the old ones tried to; )

And the seats are on a V shape wow, the reverse is on that left, And people wondering why Japanese's sports and sedans and regular car's took over the world, well I hope they don't let Japanese's companies to go full time making supercars why, well Japanese's car's would take over that shit too SWT.

Really disappointing, man. You didn't even do a walk-around of the car, or show what the mirrors look like from inside the car. Hell, you didn't even show the instrument cluster You really skimmed over this one sparsely. Glad it's an older one, and hope you learned from this.

I absolutely love your videos, but I must give specifics. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 215000 divided by 315000 equals 68. 25% of its value. forgive me if you were rounding up, but I must give accurate estimations LOL. Still don't really care, excellent video Doug

3: 26 - omg. does my old 2003 Saturn L200 really have the exact same power mirror switch (minus the little yellow LED) that's in an exotic car costing nearly a quarter million dollars? that's. unexpected

Doug why you floor every car in 6th gear at 1500 rpm, rev it to 2500 and say wooooow that's insane That drives me crazy. C'mon Rev them in 1st gear to redline and unleash their true power

cam dont show the back of the car properly. just front and inside of the car isnt enough to show. just should have gone around the car showing it whole. nevertheless this is an awesome car

Isn't the seating angled in because of the tire well intrusion? That's the way it is for most mid engine supercars. The transmission tunnel does not house any transmission, just the driveshaft.
