Here's Why the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Is Worth 65, 000

The Ford F-150 Raptor is a 65, 000 pickup that you can't really get with a discount. Here's why I think it's worth every penny. Ritalie: I haven't researched the 10 speed. Is it a good automatic that can actually tow stuff? The weak point in all vehicles is always the automatic transmission. The Chevy trucks have the best transmissions, with the 4L60E and 4L80E which are all hardened and basically indestructible. Dodge has had some transmission problems using their own in house transmissions. The Nissan CV transmissions have been notoriously unreliable. I'm not familiar with the new Ford 10 speed. It's important to know exactly what kind of transmission you have BEFORE purchasing a particular vehicle. Do some research, and find out if it's good. Ford Ranger automatics were known to blow out behind the 4. 0L V6.

Hi Doug, love your videos. Still catching up on them all. But, this is the first time that I have heard the owner in the passenger seat laughing, chuckling, agreeing. very distracting. I'm sure you've told him to be quiet several times that your not actually conversing with him but a million other people on the other end of the Go Pro but his low IQ gets the better of him. Sorry, feel like a Troll but it ruined your video. love your stuff, keep up the good work

Doug, I've watched all your videos, I'm torn between a SUV or a luxury truck. I love the Volvo XC90 Excellence but the price is a bit higher than I wanted to pay, possibly. I'm hoping you will review the 2019 or 2020 Ford Raptor, it seems incredible. I have some concerns on engine problems with the 2017 Raptor and computer problems along with other minor but annoying problems other videos have documented. Any chance you will be reviewing the new Raptor?

Hey Doug, If you havent reviewed a 2002 Ford F150 Harley Davidson truck you should This truck even today is still nice I have an 02 in the metallic grey color. I absolutely love this truck I would own one over any of the newer trucks This thing moves for a heavy super crew and rides and tows like a dream. Id be happy to let you use my truck for the review. Its not completely stock though.

The only competition this truck has is the Dodge Rebel but lets be honest, those have no resale value. I have a buddy that works at a Ford dealership and someone tried to trade in an 80k 2016 Rebel for a Raptor and they only could offer that guy 35k because thats all it was worth at market. Dougs right, these keep their value.

I really like Doug's video, But the Raptors towing capability is less then a standard 3. 5. Engine wise its just a mildly tuned 3. 5. It's a status symbol, it holds value well. . It's a cool truck, and offroad capable. Not worth the 70k they were selling at for months.

Great vid as usual. Awesome truck. But plz, any color but white Why would a person buy an awesome, head turning truck, then try to blend in with the other bazillion white vehicles on the road? White is for old people and service vehicles: )

I would love a Raptor. I like the looks and the features list is over the top. I am also surprised that Ram and GM haven't really come up with a direct competitor to this. The Rebel is close. but this is still better.

had this truck for 3 months paid close 70k for A F150 with nice shocks and some cool looking graphics not worth the money. You would be better off buying a base model f150 fx4 and upgrading it yourself.

my stepdad drives a 2016 f-150 fx4 and it is extremely similar to the raptor, its got the same motor just slightly different tune and less attention to detail. also its not as menacing looking lol
