I've never disagreed more with Doug than his Weekend Score on this versus the R8. I can't swing a dead cat without hitting an Audi, but these are RARE. I'm a bit impartial since I have an original McLaren race car and a new 720S with some MSO features. The MP4-12C was terribly named, and when McLaren brought the original prototype for me to view, I said so. They started calling it the 12C shortly after, but when they did this restyle of the front end and changed the name to 650S, it is still the original NEW McLaren, so I'd say the 650S and 12C are incredibly important and significant.

In the summer of 2018, a black McLaren 650S driven by an 18-year-old YouTuber nicknamed McSkillet crashed through a school gate, then shortly after, drove on the wrong side of the 805 Freeway here in San Diego, CA, and inevitably crashed head-on into an SUV occupied by a mother and her daughter. They, along with McSkillet in the 641hp supercar, died. The 210, 000 supercar reached a speed of 100mph, well above the 65-70mph speed limit, making it all the more dangerous, yet less than half of its 207mph top speed.

Yep, almost all cars have a backup camera now. That has totally devastated the 1970's tradition of teaching kids responsibility when they left their bicycles on the driveway and someone backed out, crushing aforementioned bicycle. I am 50 now and I am 1 in 1. I lost one bicycle in 1975 and I crushed one in 87. Oh, I forgot, I got a skateboard in the 90's but they don't make as much noise as a bicycle. I guess that tradition is dead now.

Ahhhhhhhhh, McLoser. The car company that is ACTUALLY just a chassis company since they can't/won't/have never built their own engines. Currently the company Ricardo builds their Nissan street engines and BMW their racing ones (but let's face it, McLoser hasn't been relevant in racing since Senna. Wonder when/if it'll catch fire like Solomondrins Senna or if it'll just go through 150k+ in parts and repairs like Hoovie's McLoser?

Doug, that is called ''building a line up''. The 650S is just a refreshed MP4. At the time of the MP4 they did not have a clear line up of offerings, so you can remove the MP4 and the 650S from the equation. The lineup starts with the Sport Series, 540 to 600LTThen there's the Super Series, 720SThe P1, the Senna and the SpeedTail are Ultimate Series, limited and special. Not confusing at all.

My favourite mclaren. Love this car in lime green (Im not sure of the exact name)and aurora blue also. even this lantana purple is nice. i would also say the mp412c is a-lot like this and i drove that for 3 laps in 2016. Those are some of my favourite cars period. the 570s and 720s are nice tooo but Im more particularly interested in the 570s

Yes as said below, LT stands for Long Tail and P1 stands for Position 1, as in a Grid of race cars. I read a comment here that says, 80% of car enthusiasts don't know these abbreviations Come on, that's hard to believe, if they aren't aware of this, then not much a car enthusiast? I am a little surprised Doug doesn't know this.

I wanna say that, this man is arguing about these new modal of McLaren looks the same but there are so many videos available of porshe 911 gt2, gt3 and many more and he says that those cars are different. Really? Porsche is using same design, same car body structure from more than 50 years.
