I bought a frs when I was 19, I had the 2nd one in my whole province and the only one in my town the closest other one was sold to someone 12 hours a away So no one knew what it was lol, people thought it was some super car, like a Porsche or something. People use to be like check out that car it has a Porsche boxer motor in it lol I would be like no man its just a Subaru boxer motor lol so funny I thought I had the coolest car ever for about a year. 7 years later and I hate that slow little go cart and now there is like 10 in my old home town. Lol I havent even driven it in like a year

I remember having a traffic light drag race with one, all be it a brand new Australian Toyota 86 version, against my arm chair barge of a 1987 5 litre 2. 2 metric tonne Mercedes s class (stock). I love a little street race, I dont mind losing, I just want to see a bit of grunt regardless of what I drive and or maybe upset my opponent, the 86 or brz didn't pull on me, I felt sorry for the guy who had just purchased it, beaten by a big beater, gotta suck in a sports car

I used to own a modded 370 z and I feel like my tS handles better. I just feel alive driving it (no pun intended Miata lol) Id consider it more fun to drive. The Z 34 just felt heavy. Its like a Japanese muscle car. The tS is just a perfectly balanced machine. I think 250 300 hp is perfect for this car. Anything more and the balance is off. Cant wait to take it to the track to see if the wing actually works

0-60 in 6. 3 seconds is decent. My BMW 128i does it in 5. 9 seconds, which is considered (and which I consider to be) fast enough. That is plenty fast enough for a sports car. This car's handling should be enough to keep most of us (over 14 yoa) entertained. EVERYTHING does not need to be a muscle car

I'm late to conversation but if i remember correctly everyone loved the Nissan 240sx, so why can't this car get some love too? I know the price is way different from the 93' 240sx from back in the day but this car reminds me of my old 240sx. It's simple. Sure the car isn't fast but its fun to drive.

The BRZ, FRS and GT86 are 197-205HP they are sport cars true, they are slow true. But they're slow for a reason they are ment to be tuned and modd. You can easily get more HP with a tune, UEL, cold air intake, overpipe, catback, fuel pump, and injectors. And just with that you can get 275-300+ HP.

I have a child seat in the back of my GT86 and I drop off my 2. 5 y/o on a daily basis. Just part of the sacrifice you have to make to drive something fun. The rear seats are perfectly serviceable for shorter people (up to 1. 7m, 5'6, since it's a 2+2 and not a 4 seater you shouldn't expect more.

The BRZ feels alright if you get past the torque dip I've found, the problem really is just power delivery that isn't linear, you want to get the car around 6k in first gear to get past the torque dip. That alone(trying to keep out of the torque dip) is a fun game on its own.

Far less people would complain if they simply fixed the crappy dip in the middle power curve the engine currently has. It's not impossible to do either. A lot of people do it with headers and a tune. Except it would be nice to have that without ruining the warranty.

Who cares if its not fast if it gets you to point a and point b and looks cool then it doesnt matter besides going fast is illegal sooo no wonder they make it slow (because theyre smart and dont want their customers getting tickets
