So excited to watch this review! This is one of the few cool and quirky cars on here I have actually had personal experience with! I knew a guy who worked in a body shop that had one exactly like this one, could be THIS one. I need to see the VIN, he said his was the second convertible of it's kind to leave the assembly line. Such a cool car in person, video and picture somehow just doesn't do the color justice.
EDIT: Actually Doug, according to the guy who owned the one I'm talking about, the whole flying a rep out story is true. The guy I'm talking about happens to be a body shop manager and he told me the same story, which is why he would rather not paint the minor damage on his trunk lid.

Man! I bought my FoxBody when I was in 8th grade and the first time I went for a drive was like being in a race car -- then it came time to get out. I turned it off and the key wouldn't come out. I mean like I pulled it, scratched my head and was perplexed for a solid 30 minutes. I thought I broke it. Went to my step dad and shamefully told him the news -- the car is messed up, I did it. I broke it somehow. He just laughed. He then showed me the process -- went back to the steering column, he pushed a button on the bottom left hand side and the turned the keys and they released. my jaw dropped. Hahahah I'll never forgot that.

I have a 99 SVT that I actually drove unlike the previous owner(s) of this one. The 99 spoiler is better. The interior is indeed cheap. Whining about the little key removal button feels silly, it's not hard to push the button. I would love a 6 speed. I feel like 5 is not enough. Also, must be nice to have quarter windows that actually work. Mine haven't worked in years.

Thanks Doug for finally putting an SN95 Mustang on here. I've owned an 81, 84, 85 Capri 5. 0, 94 GT, and currently have an 04 GT Conv. They are just fun cars. The 04 is the last raw Mustang. Mine has 233k miles and the engine still purrs and pulls. For a throw around car they are fun and cheap to maintain. I've had offers of 15k and have never sold it and never will.

My mother's friend had one of the coupes!
She owned it for about a month before it was smashed into by a truck. She was a little upset about that. She was outright mad when the insurance totaled it. The paint was one of the reasons for totaling it, because the substantially higher cost of it and how difficult it was to get ahold of at the time.

A friend of the family bought one brand new in 04' and he took me for a ride I remember the hair on the back of my neck standing up when he rolled out and went into full throttle, haha! I was 16 at the time and it was the fastest car I had ever been in. Even though that interior leaves a lot to be desired I'd love to have one.
