how about trucks getting larger and more powerful and expensive every year while constantly decreasing the size of the bed, which is too far off the ground to lift anything into anyway. As a contractor, I need a truck that costs as much as my house and is more expensive to maintain, is nearly impossible to maneuver on a job site, and has absolutely no usable cargo space. I am aware that this configuration has some applications, but they dont all need to be like that People used to get a lot of work done with small trucks and I still do. I hope I can make my 93 and 96 Nissans last forever.

Most everything in the US is made to screw over their customers and everybody and they can get away with it because they are all doing it and they control the US government with their money That is a problem with a capitalist government because it takes so much money to run and those who makeing money and dont pay taxes use that money to buy influence in the US government, like Israel for example, most all the corporations and the rich, like Trump that had not paid taxes in seventeen years But he loves to cut US government revenues and increase spending

what about the Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems? it blings up that you have a dodgy tyre - but doesnt tell you which one. so you check all four, only to find all four tyres have the correct tyre pressure. and one ( maybe two, three or all four ) sensors are throwing a hissy fit. I disconnected mine and check my pressures each time I fill up with petrol - the old school way. Which gives you the one thing that modern day technology is seemingly incapable of giving - Peace Of Mind on the road.

Two more: 1. Audio systems that cant be replaced. A car should last 20+ years, but technology moves fast enough that electronics fail or could use updating after just 510 years. Im shopping for a car, but looking for something thats old enough that I can replace the head unit. 2. Integrating climate controls onto a touch screen. Physical dials and buttons have tactile feedback that allow them to be operated without looking; touch screens cannot.

A-1 Kilmer video AGAIN. Scotty; is it my suspicion alone; or is it true, that cars frontal designs look like angry monster faces, by deliberate design? Being an artist, i can see all this. even many wheels strongly suggest monster teeth, if not the grill areas looking like the same I hate these demonic/monster face looks on cars the last 5 +/- years. worse than the old EdselsOnce u notice it; u keep on seeing it. creepy creepy creepy.

Scotty it sure is a pleasure watching you on you tube. I will miss those waving hands of yours when youll retire. Like you I firmly believe in Toyotas product. Owned a 1998 Camry LE that it has body corrosion (live in Canada), hail damage and following your advise of years ago, faithfully change the oil. Had thought in getting a newer one but change my mind as it only has 150, 000 Km. and it was made in Japan. Keep up the good work.

scotty, not everything in life is about function and logic. people need art in their lives, the looks and design of the grille is a form of art. it gives the car character that the designer wanted to capture. just like why people shop for clothes. sure you can go to walmart and buy some cheap pants but designer pants look better. back to the point, the grille of the car is a necessity if you are into the looks of a car.

I have no issues with plastic healights, especially when run over: Palso a run flat or emergency kit is probably preferable to a full size tyre in places like Europe anyway. I really like this channel, but some of Scotty ideas are a bit. old school hahaI agree that a car should not be a phone and the excess of injectiong technology for the sake of it and obsolescence. a car from early 2000 is probably were I would stop
