In nineties I bought brand new Chrysler van, and at 20, 000 the transmission for some reason fell down and ended on my driveway. Because I still had manufacturing warranty theyve put a new transmission. But they didnt change the sensors ( end of nineties all those sensors started to show up on cars, and because of that my van never drove right, it was a lemon. Then they had big sale on Pacificas, and Ive traded my van in and bought Pacifica, because I could feel it that engine was going down too. They give me good money for their lemon, because it still had 2 years of manufacturing warranty and only 28, 000 miles. Because car was never declared a lemon and with law mileage they failed to check that transmission was replaced already. Then on of sales people told us that Chrysler dealer was considering to sue us about the lemon car, until they looked and found out that they were the ones that had sold us that lemon. I had Pacifica for 10 years and never had any problems at all, until it was crashed in an accident. It had 117, 000 miles on it, because my job was far away from my house. Ive changed oil religiously, and at 35, 000 I started to change transmission oil. It was gas guzzler though, but really sturdy on the road in winter, it had Mercedes undercarriage.

Scotty just confirmed that Americans are becoming dumber. How come this doesn't seem to bother anyone? It's the absolute truth. So few people can really do anything anymore. With all the data on the interweb and all the schools vying for your dollar, how can we still be heading on the road to being so useless? The Asian contenent will have the richest countries by far because those people are still willing to physically work. Arabic nations will go broke as soon a fossil fuels are no longer needed, so there will be huge disparity there- stinking rich and hopelessly poor. Europe will have the alternative products to Asia because they are clever and ruthless. Unfortunately, America will become a 3rd world country of sheep in a few short generations with no useful purpose. We offer little to the world now, and in a few decades we'll have absolutely nothing to offer accept our dependance on foreign countries. Hell, who is going to fix our broken infrastructure in 20 years. millennials? I seriously doubt it. Anyone see this coming in this way?

When I get dark trans fluid I remove a few ounces don't overfill with ZMax. .we used it in our Piper aircraft under a different name. In the engine fuel and trans I have saved more transmissions. I bought a econo bucking bronco. I was looking at valve job and tranny swap. I saw the ZmAX commercial and recognized the name of the aeronautic oil additive it has an FAA rating. I had bought a 4000 van for 400 put in the z max and the engine and trans were like a sewing. machine perfect from Indian school and 40 at the Checker up to Peoria and Cave Creek road home and the engine and transmission were perfect I got 3800 for the cargo van next day. And it had a 150k mile warranty to rebuild anything it touched so I could advertise a warranty and people called me first on my car flipping enterprise. 3rd generation.

I cant believe the number of people upset about Scotty recommending Toyota. I used to buy GM products. Until I bought a Pontiac Vibe (Toyota Matrix) it gave me absolutely no problems for over 15 years - even the interior was still fine Unfortunately a girl hit me a few months ago and totaled it. I bought a Corolla to replace it. I will NEVER buy anything but Toyota from now on. Scotty recommends Toyota because they freaking LAST They run and run and run and run. If you want to buy crap, go right ahead. Just remember, Scotty warned you.

Scotty don't cut down GM because in the 90s and the 60s the GM cooperation had the best cars and trucks around. It just not GMs years. The 409 and cadillac 472 396 454 in 1970 and 350 lt1 for 96 impala ss were good engine. Yes lt1 for camero was a bad one but I owned a 94 roadmaster with a lt1 and it was good on gas for what it was fast for getting 26 mpg on the interstate and 220000 miles when I sold it.

You are a productive American, we all came from some where. Why are people so quick to label people and put them down, I think it says something about their insecurity. From what I see you are paying taxes(probably more than some billionaires. While helping people improve their life, most likely more than the people that are making these comments.

My family came over illegally from Czechoslovakia and immigration was actually after our great great grandpa for a while down in Texas Lol. People can judge but unless you are Native American- we all come from immigrants and MANY of those immigrants came here illegally to make a better life for their families.

WRONG WRONG WRONG Scotty, the 4Runner frames rot, even the new ones. There are currently class actions on newer 4Runners and to date Toyota hasnt even acknowledged any of the full frame vehicles corrosion problems have been resolved. Ask the NHTSA what they think about all Toyota full frame vehicles to date.
