Heres Why This Engine Oil Will Make Your Car Run Better Will Riley: It's not necessarily the oil. It's the car engine. For example Japanese cars have tiny intricate 4 cylinder engines with tiny oil passages. So you have to use piss thin oil that burns off quick. Some car engines are just designed better and you don't have to use full synthetic oil and have weird random oil leaks from time to time. An example would be many Volvo engines. They were designed with being buried in snow from multiple months out of the year in mind.

Scotty, if you live in an apartment and dont have a garage to change your own oil; you have to rely on the quick lube. Many of those will have you pay for full synthetic but behind your back they use the cheap stuff or dont actually change the oil at all. Youre better off just insisting on buying the cheap oil anyway so you dont get ripped off but you have to change it according to the severe oil change schedule recommendations in the owners manual

Good Morning Mr. Kilmer I have a 2003 Dodge stratus 2. 4L with 113, 847 miles just had a major tune-up but the check engine light is on and the code is intake air temp sensor and camshaft malfunction. Should I get a new car? I bought this car used almost a year ago haven't had any major problems with it the axle broke a few weeks ago and I got that fix so I just want to know is it worth it fixing these problems and are these major problems

Hey I have a 2003 Ford E350 v10 Xlt wagon super duty this is my work vehicle I have turned it in to a tool box for building Fencing. The rear end it tends to sag especially when I got a trailer hooked with post concrete rails and pickets. Do you think if I got bigger leaf springs from a e450 cutaway that would be my best option? Junkyard would run me about 60 a piece

Hey scotty, Ive got a scan tool that works with my phone. I can get a live readout of all of the sensors and I want to diagnose a few problems. Not throwing any codes but Im hoping to find a source that tells me what the standard range of measurements are and some guidance on what needs replacing if these are outside of the standard range.

Scotty, I travel all over the state of Ca. and on occasion I sometimes I go to Utah and Arizona. So I go into very cold and very hot weather. I have a 2006 Range Rover Sport and the recommended oil is 5-30. But it is oil, non-synthetic. My question is, should or can I be ok using a synthetic oil?

electrical problems are the worst, I have had them with Ford contour, literally endless money pit. Had to call mobile mechanic electrician every other day, its one thing after the other. Stay the hell away from cars known for wiring problems. Flooded as well as hail( might be flooded as well)

Hi Scotty, I have a 1993 ford mustang convertible. I recently put in a nice pair of LED headlamps with a 9007 plug into my car, but now the low/high beams are swapped. Turning on high beams activates the low beams and low beams turn on the high beams. Any suggestions?
