I think that Nissan might discontinue their car lineup, including the Quest minivan and Juke crossover (already discontinued) - Micra (Canada only, Versa (including Versa Note, Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Kicks, etc. They will also discontinue the Frontier pick-up truck, after the Xterra was discontinued and the Murano, as well. They will only sell the all-new, Rogue (including Rogue Sport (Qashqai in Canada) and the all-new, Pathfinder and the all-new, Armada in the brand new vehicle lineup. They would also discontinue the Infiniti brand, as well. But, finally, I still like the older Nissan's and older Infiniti's, because they were better vehicles, back then. The best Nissan in the used market is the 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 Quest 3. 5 SL and 3. 5 SE minivan, because it has the 3. 5 L V6 engine with 240 horsepower and it has the five-speed automatic transmission. The engine and transmission of the 2004 to 2009 Quest are excellent and they are FWD, because they are fuel-efficient. Do not go for the 2004 or 2007 models.

From what I have heard one thing Carlos ghosn did when he came to Nissan was firing many suppliers of Nissan which he told was enjoying good lucrative contracts with Nissan. At that time Nissan was known for quality. One thing I admire ABT Jap cos is that supplier profitability is also their concern. Where western cos try to boost their profitability will go for supplier margin. They squeezes the margin frm supplier who inturn supply cos with low quality pdts. This sort of mindset is good for short term but is bound to fail in long-term.

It's sad what Nissan's turned into. I've had an 85 Sentra, a 90 hardbody, a 78 280z, a 75 210 wagon and an 80 scout with a Nissan forklift engine under the hood. All were excellent vehicles, especially the scout which I drove around for 2 months without a working alternator. All the technology in the world isn't worth squat if the car it's attached to dies after 50k.

Nissan is a company with no innovation, dated styling and technology. They are like Mitsubishi. All their cars look the same. It shows lazy engineering. Their cars are cheaper than Toyota or Honda the reason why people still buy them. Toyota brought us the first fuel cell car and hybrid car. They have more patents than any other company. Nissan is just. there?

My 2017 pathfinder shutters when cold; CVT. Drives fine but only in the morning I get the symptom. I thought I was making a long term investment but thats impossible with CVT from what Ive researched so far. Bad design starts with the oil stick where I need a flashlight even during the day to reinsert it. This will be my last nissan purchase.

I have a 2014 Nissan Sentra that I bought brand new. A year later the transmission went out. The issue Ive read is that the transmissions overheat on long drives and what a coincidence, I had taken a 5 hour trip out of towns and it left me stranded. Also, the AC compressor went out at 50k miles which also had to be replaced. Youve been warned

It is just the Liberals running the Company here in America. They may pull out of feel good America but Scotty they are in a lot of Countries. Look them up, they are into the billions of dollars in other Countries. Could be they are just testing the Renault idea here. So they fail in one market big deal. Scotty you don't get out much do you.

It is an aged portfolio not because they make junk. Just as an example the frontier design has been the same for over a decade and the interiors they have are from a decade ago as well. If it were for quality they wouldn't have lost the most cars in North America in 2018 and Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, and GM would be releasing similar reports

I wanted a 4x4 so I bought a 2016 Jeep (FIAT) Renegade and only have 8, 000 miles on it and the warranty has expired. It is a latitude model with 2. 4 liter engine. Should I trade it over to a RAV-4 or whatever? I foresee problems maybe down the road after watching your videos, and I hate car trouble Trade for better car?
