I Was Wrong About Corvettes Mar Blox: I like the C6 - if you take out the ABS, Traction Control, Power Windows, Door Locks, and electric door opening. Oh, and until you need a trans which is in the back that will break your bank account for a month. And if you need ONE tire - 250. 00 because it is a run flat. And GM made the front headlight lens to need replacing and when you do you have to take the entire front end off the car - great design GM idiots. I'd rather have my Prius.

If you are looking for a DD, a Corvette will not disappoint. You'll average (I've had a C-5 and two C-6s) in excess of 23 MPG in mixed driving and you will look COOL. Depending on what you really want, racing/DD/sporting about, they will be reliable and when not, cheap to fix. compared to just about anything else. You can customize the crap out of them too.

As long as it passes emissions test, that is all that matters. I would just hate seeing a damn check engine light come on for irrelevant things such as that passenger seat error thing. Pretty soon an error code will pop up because the ozone layer is dissipating. Too much technology will be the end of us. Too much of something will end us, not enough balance.

I've been looking forward to a Corvette review by Scotty, lol. We have to remember that the Corvette is built in Paducah, Ky. and that is the only vehicle made there. Plus, I think the Corvette is GM's baby, and even they are not going to cheapen it too much. I'd like to see Scotty do a video on the new 2020 mid engine Corvette. That looks to be one bad boy

I have to laugh when Scotty mentions emissions test. Where I live, we dont have to do that. I hated having to do them when I lived in Commiefornia. The emissions test places were generally crooked and the tests were a waste of time and money. Im so glad that I havent had to smog a vehicle since the 90s.

Been thinking of getting a corvette for a little while. its so hard though I cant let go of my LexusIS 300, 2JZ has legendary reliability. Im scared of owning a pile of junk. I dont like the phrase weekend toy I drive the hell out of my cars, I want to enjoy them not have them sit around all the time.

I want to get a C6 ZR1 Corvette myself, 638 horsepower & has made a record even on the Nurburgring in the past. You could twin charge the damn engine & it will still be a much more reliable thing than most cars. No need for all the high tech that the new ones have. That specific model is just right

Corvettes are good most everything else GM makes is bad. Thats a shame considering their main staple right now is SUVs, and trucks. A big company like GM should and could be as good in quality as Toyota across the whole product range. Now GMs quality will get worse in China Im sure

Plastics and Pushrods and Leaf Springs oh my Nah, but seriously. Vettes are outstanding performance bargains. It's just such a shame they're GM products. And yeah, I know, their being GM products is likely the very thing that makes them such outstanding performance bargains.
