This Car Will Change Honda Forever Apsco Radiales: Honda's intelligence is rather limited. A few years ago they introduce the Acura models - nice cars, Integra, TSX. Then, they ruin them, make them horrible when it comes to reliability and looks. Acura sales are tanking. Only took them something like 15 years to bring back the Civic Type R to North America, and even then it's not the same Type R as the Europeans get. And not a single diesel model either for the North Americans. People here in North America don't realise how nice of a car Honda Civic Type S (diesel version of a Type R) really was. Loved mine while I stayed in Europe for a while.

I'm saddened by Scotty's anti-government rhetoric. A country as enormous in size as the USA with over three hundred million people needs governing. Improve government, don't just get frustrated and give up. Cars are a simple example. They travel everywhere in the USA, and on public roads. The have exhaust pipes unless they are electric and the gases that come out are inhaled by everyone from birth until death. I lived in Paris France before they removed lead from the exhaust and it was a beautiful city with air that made yous sick. Now there is no more lead, but there are particles from diesel exhaust and the air is making people sick. Your right to do what you want ends at the point where other people have to pay for your roads and breath your exhaust. That is democratic and just. You want to live free or die, sounds good, but you live in a huge sprawling city, so other people are going to limit your freedom whether they are doing so with good or evil intent. You have explained the problems with electric cars and they are significant, but on a whole they seem to be better for people who live in car cities like Houston, LA, and New York. I prefer electric buses and birth control to make our cities better. Birth control will always be optional, but demanding more electric buses, trams and cars is not unfair. Buses and trams can use overhead wires to avoid the battery weight. They are popular in Switzerland and Germany and most subway systems use electricity. Are you perhaps prejudiced by your lifetime of learning about combustion engines?

Hey Scotty out of curiosity question how many miles will a 2. 2 L Ecotec four-cylinder on average get if oil changes were done regularly I have one from an area that was a salt belt rust corrosion area there are no codes for internal engine failures only evap and abs I have new evap components and fuel cap haven't driven it long enough to see if EVAP code comes back I do know the rack and pinion is leaking and does need changed it's at 88960 something miles on odometer how long before I will need major repairs on engine the particular vehicle is a 02 Oldsmobile Alero it also has brand new struts and a wine in the turning which I think it would be the rack and pinion is the car a decent car to drive for a while or should I look for another one I do nothat it burns at least a quart and a quarter every 10000 miles I did fail to do an oil change regular once due to financial trouble 10000 before oil change drained it and had a little under 4 quarts when it holds 5 quarts when I managed to do an oil change the oil that I put back in it is Factory wait but Walmart brand

don't want to get into politics scotty but. if the europeans switch to electric its a great idea. it reduces the carbon footprint. i mean thats the whole point of hybrids and electric cars, right? its not really about the government telling us what to do. rather you should look at it as which option would sustain our planet for generations to come. a good amount or retards in the states, just like you said, would go out to buy those gas guzzling cars because. well. they're retarded? they're ignorant. europeans on the other hand. whether it's due to their government or because of their choice. it's the smarter choice in the long run. electric cars are expensive though thats why i went with a hybrid. if i had the money i'd definitely swap to an electric but then again. the amount of cars that i like aren't made electric.

Those Infiniti's 3. 0t engines are pretty good engines and they will last quiet long time but unfortunately too many guys out there are destroying those engines but playing too much with them by doing all the mods and stuff for more power and stuff so they they gonna fall apart step by step no matter what, i just don't understand where u need all this power, where u can actually use all the power they already have from factory, those engines have tons of power, both regular and Red sport, its almost imposible to even use all the power in regular driving basis unless u want to use them on drag strips or racing or stuff other than that where u gonna use that power where is 35 speed limit all over the place, so guys keeps destroying them.

Never get into a car fleece, if youre gonna buy a luxury car get yourself a used Lexus or lease returned car. Maintain it and then sell it before you get to 80-90K miles to avoid major repairs. This way youll always come out ahead of leasing, I used to sell cars and a common misconception is that leasing is good for the consumer when in fact its even better for manufacturers than selling the car lmao. Because you pay based off of full sticker and then you pay for the depreciation upfront plus interest, then when you return it, the dealer has a mint CPO vehicle to sell to the next schmoe. Never lease Youre just renting the car.

Scotty in europe gas is sooo expensive and electricity is soooooo cheap. In greece gas is 8. 50 a gallon so a honda civic would cost 100 euros a week to fuel. And since pay is about 350 euros a week you can see the huge cost of gas. Electricity is almost free. A house hold pays about 30 euros a month and that's in the hot months with AC on. Do the math it's a no brainer. I was born in NYC and live here all my life. Have you ever heard of a Skoda? Made in the Czech Republic. Tanks for cars. Their diesel engines go 700, 000 km. almost all taxis are skoda for a reason

why would you need 4wd in new york in winter? you don't need 4wd for winter and nyc barely has any winter. that's not how it works. sincerely, a finn(just put some stapless winter tires on the car for the 3 months you might get ice or snow and you're just fine, better than getting yourself into trouble with a 4wd car anyways if it's slippery. 4wd wont make you stop any quicker, the tires will make you stop quicker in the cool/ice/snow and let you get up an iced up slope better too than pseudo-non-locked 4wd will ever let you climb.

Honda civic 1. 0 here in Europe has major issues with oil dilution. Those 3 in line are time bombs. Ford makes the best 3 in line engine on Europe. They have them since 2011 and had plenty of time to fix all the bugs and issues. All other brands like vw tsi (3 in line) Kia hyundai engines are rough and loud working, they haven't have the time or the engineering to make a good engine like the ecoboost. They try to copy some ecoboost features since they can't make the same exact engine due to patents.

I have a Honda Clarity (Plug-in hybrid, gets 40 to 60 miles on the battery before the 4 cyl kicks in. But here is where Honda got it right. when you are on a trip, and the battery runs out, the engine kicks in. and you can press a button and recharge the battery as you drive down the road, giving you electric power when you get back into traffic. Besides that, it is a great car. First Honda, I have ever owned. With all the short trips my wife makes, we can go months with the gas tank still full.
