Heres Why Car Companies are Shutting Down Worldwide (No New Cars) Knight: Hey there Scotty, FYI: Australian market Nissan Dualis is not the US market Rogue. The US market Rogue is known as the X-Trail here in Australia. Dualis is also known as the Qashqai and Rogue Sports in other parts of the world. If the person has a Dualis, then this is a first generation J10 series that went from 2006 - 2013, so the vehicle is between 7 and 14 years old. If it's still going well after all that time, then it's not too bad. My wife has an Australian market Nissan Maxima (2010) with only 75k km (48 k miles, recently changed the CVT oil and touch wood is running really well. I have told her since we bought it 4 years ago, make sure you show mechanical sympathy, ie particularity taking off from stand still, slowly and smoothly - which thankfully she does. It's such a smooth relaxing car that on the move it pulls you along very effortlessly and not requiring too many revs.

Popping/clicking on strut replacement - CV joints were moved out of their normal groove, needs replaced. It needed replaced before strut replacement but the metal dust/grease paste held balls in place and kept it quiet, now that's pushed out of the way and fresh grease is in it's place the balls can wander wherever they want and make popping/grinding noises. Mechanics don't want to take blame for ruining what was a perfectly good CV axle because most CRs will instantly blame them to keep customer happy and make them eat the CV cost. Edit - less commonly it happens with tie rod ends, ball joints and wheel bearings, but it does happen. Bearings fail the same as the CV but the ball joints and ends are typically stacked up rust flakes that get dislodged or the rubber bushings inside the joint decide to split. Checked fine before, not after, mechanic's fault if they can sell it.

Yeah you can have the virus and spread it. and it causes absolutely nothing or very little in most people. Nothing is worse with this virus than the flu from other years. FAR fewer deaths so far. So it has some distance to go before it lives up to expectations so to speak. a crasched economy and all sorts of stuff. And if nothing of that happens. I guess someone needs to be expected to give some answers about was this fuss was all about. It's not like the NWO wanst prediced to be introduced EXACTLY this way. with people BEGGING for it. Now is NOT the time to trust the government.

Scotty, I'm looking at buying a used Toyota Celica, 1994. It has 162000 miles on it. Manual, 5 speed transmission. 2. 2 liter 4cyl motor. It only needs a driver wheel bearing and the driver cv axle replaced. It could use a paint job too. The guy wants 1000 for it. I could really use some advice on this. Thanks in advanceEDIT-The seller also fixed recently all 4 tires, hatch lift struts, motor mounts, and driver tail lamp assembly, dash lights, door lock actuators, hatch release, front turn signals, and wiper motor. The only nitpick is that there is no center console trim.

Great work Mr. Kilmer. Because of you, people will ask (demand) that everyone make cars as good as Toyota - study excellence I heard one wise elder say. PS: couldn't Nissan simply offer to replace their CVT transmissions after 80k miles? No, they aren't as long lasting as automatics, but maybe that's a given. Maybe they could simply acknowledge, agree to replace, and price it into the price of the car. Easier said. I'm sure. Great videos

Honestly, they should only make brand new cars every five years or even 10 years. Force people to keep their cars for a long time. Wouldnt that be better for the environment? Lol instead of making thousands of new cars every single day. And it will be better for mechanics too, they can actually do work fixing cars instead of everybody leasing a new car every 2/3 years and they get rid of them before they even need any work.

Hi Scotty, have a 2004 BMW 330ci with 130 KM. Car was passed down from my dad and is in great condition. Do you think its worth keeping a few more years to save some money or should I consider selling and leasing a new Toyota corolla hatchback (standard)? I know you think bmws are full of plastic, but mine has been babied and nothing has broken down yet. Greetings from Toronto, Canada.

Tesla sells 35-40k non-luxury cars. Tesla has a fully built out supercharger network across the entire country. Tesla has 8bn in cash reserves and is more than ready to weather this next recession. More so than any other auto manufacturer. Please stop spreading false information. Please do your research. I enjoy your videos and value your ICE car knowledge but you are dead wrong about Tesla.

IF you have no symptoms, then you probably have it. that is what I hear people say all the time. insane All the other sports car companies have stopped making cars now that the new Corvette is out. I hear that it is fast. 0-60 in 2. 9 seconds. I also hear that they are going to rename the Corvette the Coronavette. a car that can be driven fast to no where because everything is shut down.

Rich people always have money. Recession or not. Your regular working Joe/Josephine on the other hand won't be buying a new car or even a used one anytime soon. Just maintain what you have and fix what needs fixing. As my brother quite often said There is no recession or depression if your working. Looks like I get to put off retiring for another year. or two. or.
