Buying a Car? You\'re Doing It Wrong DJ ArcForce: One of the few times me and Scotty disagree. The Fox Body Mustang is a true classic and a perfect example of an affordable muscle car (in it's day. I think they're beautiful and I plan on buying one, an LX model and doing the 5. 0 engine swap. I'll find one that's a total pile of trash and pay almost nothing for it and then bring it back from the dead. That's just how I roll.

370z will last as long as a 350z. VQ3. 7 rather than the VQ3. 5. Are you talking basic or a sport/Touring? I've heard you can get a good price on any version. Just do the maintenance when you should and you'll be fine. Change to synthetic oil in the crankcase and there's no reason why you couldn't get 200, 000 miles on the engine or car for that matter. For a weekend toy and you do good maintenance, plan on passing it down to a relative because it certainly not going to fall apart. Wait a minute, did you mean race toy LOL.

Scotty, a service woman in my town is selling her 2003 Tacoma with 93k miles on it because she is being transferred to Alaska and doesn't want it to sit in her garage for 3 years and rot. The truck is a quad cab and looks really clean. She's asking 1400. not a typo, only 1400. The truck is worth 7-8k on KBB. I asked her why not go to Carmax and sell it. She would get more than 1400. She said it's too old for them. I'm going to look at it today to check it out. What do you think, a good buy or a clever scam?

I personally would kind of own a 350Z, 240Z with a LS engine, or maybe the slightly older 370Z but that depends on me though and I'm a 19 year old young guy. When I was like 11 or 12 years old, I had fantasies of driving a Nissan 350Z hardtop or convertible because I've played Midnight Club L. A Complete Edition and some other games that featured this car. I wouldn't necessarily recommend putting a LS in a 350Z in my opinion but some people do it anyways.

My Toyota specialist mechanic's wife is still driving an '09 Prius with 360k miiles on it on the same original hybrid battery. Word to the wise with Prius' -- you gotta drive them to last. Don't buy a used 2nd gen prius unless it was driven at least 12k-k15k miles a year. If they sit, the hybrid battery is more likely to fail later on. I'm looking at upgrading to 3rd gen prius and hanging onto my 04 prius that has 204k miles and still running strong.

I think theres too much emphasis on after the Renault merger. The early 2000's nissan sentras for example are still solid cars. It wasn't until 2007 where the designs started to intertwine with Renault for this specific model. The 2000-2006 sentra is based off the 1998 B15 Super Sunny in Japan. Though, Renault DID use this design in Korea with their Samsung partnership. it just wasn't exactly a renault designed car.

Scotty, in reference to the new C8, there was an allocation of 40k for the first run. All of those are already assigned out. Base price is approximately 59, 995. 00. Dealers are not allowed to charge any type of premium or risk loosing their entire future Corvette allocations. This year the only performance package offered is the Z51 package which has always been geared towards handling but well see ha ha ha.

3: 03 I'm Hispanic, my dad had a fox body mustang, well 2 actually. 1 was a 4cyl and the second was V8, a caprice pulled up next to him once and reved his engine, on green they went for it and when my dad took the lead the caprice turned its police lights on and pulled him over. No tickets was issued just a warning to slow down.

Hi Scotty i like all of your advises on getting a car. I just hope you'll find a pair of eye glassses that suits you better. I suggest wearing non-transition lenses so it will show your eyes specially if you're indoors and giving advises. It will look more humane and sincere if we can see your eyes. That's all and more power.
