The Worst Vehicle to Buy for the Coming Apocalypse RJ: Jeeps tend to be reliable - if they weren't, why would they be one of the most popular vehicles out there? Lets not forget that several Jeep parts are manufactured by a company owned by Toyota. Let's also not forget how capable a stock jeep is. They are not nice riding, nor do they get good gas mileage, however.

I f you wanted to buy an apocalypse car you should buy a non-computerized car from the 70s with point ignition. You would then stock up on the necessary parts such as plugs, points, condenser, ignition coil, fan belts, etc. If a computer controlled car breaks down in an apocalypse there will be no way to fix it without a high tech repair shop.

I own a 2009 jeep wrangler jk. Jk stands for junk. The worst vehicle I have ever owned. Constantly have to tinker with it. I will never buy a Chrysler product again. I curse the engineers every time I work on it. The engineers must purposely do this so the dealers make money. DO NOT BUY A jeep people. Chrysler ruined the Jeep brand.

Hi Scotty, thanks for your videos, I got a 2013 Manual Ford Mustang GT with 40 000 Miles. When I am in 6th gear and accelerate above 75 MPH my car makes a whining noise, the drive remains smooth and the car whines only when I accelerate, there is no whining if I am in the Gear and don't accelerate. Why is that?

Way back when my dad went on a week long 4X4 big group trip, he had an ordinary old stock '71 Suburban and asked the organizer about it's viability for the long trip--You'll be fine I'm worried about the two Jeep Wagoners they always breakdown. Sure enough--one twisted off a drive line and the other failed too.

Of course new Jeeps SUCK My old XJ isn't perfect, but the 4. 0L will never die. I have extra sensors if those go bad. Definitely the vehicle I'd want for an apocalypse. cheap, plentiful parts, easy to work on, small, utilitarian. with locked axles, it'll go anywhere.

My wife REALLY wants a Jeep. I hate them with a passion. Shes a great woman so I made a deal with her. Ill lease her one for two years. At least if it falls apart during that time it will be under warranty.

An older Jeep would be great actually. They were better built and very easy to work on. But Id probably pick a land cruiser for the apocalypse. That and a dirt bike to go through the abandoned cars.
