Was I Wrong About Lexus Luxury Cars Krazy: Isn't Lexus basically a glorified Toyota? Its difficult to work on and has problems, so Scotty should be having major fits. But since it's a Yota, he doesn't call it a piece of junk and is definitely bias regardless if it's a POS or not

Being the masochist mechanic I am, I finally decided to do valve cover gaskets, plug tube gaskets, and spark plugs on my mom's 2002 Toyota Sienna. Yes, a 1MZ V6 crammed in a tiny engine bay, tucked against the firewall at a slant angle Had to take the intake off, but left the throttle body on because I do not want to remove coolant lines. Got both valve covers off exposing the cams. I made this 7 hour job worthwhile and used silicone gaskets instead of rubber, sucked the oil out of a few spark plug tubes with a mighty vac before replacing the plugs, and cleaned all the oil that leaked from the back valve cover with LOTS of brake clean after getting everything back together. Saved my mom at least 1000. You will never find a better 2002 Sienna She uses it to keep miles off her Grand Cherokee Hemi.

Moral of the video, just stick to naturally aspirated in-line 4 cylinder engines. I can barely replace my brakes without forgetting to tighten a bolt, but it takes less than half an hour to change all 4 spark plugs on my 2013 Honda Accord since all four coil on plugs are right there on top of the engine. The 4 liter Toyota v6 engine in our 2005 4Runner is mounted longitudinally so maintenance is easier than the v6 Lexus or Camry. The intake manifold is mounted on top of the middle of the V of the V6 engine and the sparks plugs are on either end of the engine. You dont have to take the intake manifold off to get to them. But me being short, Id need a ladder to climb into the engine bay to get to them.

Scotty, thanks for your great work I can say I am a little bit more than a dummy on the corrupt foreign garbage technology after SUBLIMINAL Manipulation Technology has made me a Scotty video ADDICTBUT PLEASE, can you start giving across the board prices when you display the different cars. You have given a little less panic on how to deal with corrupt technology, but YOU LEAVE US HANGING FOR PRICES

Hi Scotty. Pieter from South Africa here. I have a 2014 IS350 with 35, 000Miles on. I'm the 2nd owner and bought it 2 years ago. There is a clung clung noise from mainly the front wheels when releasing the brake, especially every time I change between drive and reverse and then release the brake. Brake shoes have 30% ferodo left. Sounds as if the noise comes from the brake calipers. Please help

What is your opinion on a 2009 Kia Sportage LX with only the 2 L four-cylinder engine and only FWD? I just found one at a used car dealer with blue exterior colour and grey interior colour. It has 155, 450 km and it only costs 4, 900 and the warranty is free. Is it a decent vehicle to own for the first time?

This is unrelated to this video but I have a friend who literally watches your videos and bought a 2017 Jeep Wrangler with only 40, 000 miles a few days ago and the thing completely broke down on a 50 mile trip up to Wisconsin

Scotty, on those yellowed faded Lexus headlight lenses, have you tried the CeraKote Ceramics headlight restoration kit? I ordered one the other day to try. Did the Sylvia kit last year but it only lasted about 6 months.

Hi Scotty As a wannabe minimalist myself and self called beginner mechanic I would like to know: what's your opinion on the passengers crash protection for old cars vs new cars. Maybe a video on this subject. Thx
