Honda's and Toyota's are not good anymore, both older and newer models, due to speed, handling and reliability. This is why you should stick to domestic vehicles, instead of getting those imported ones. After watching this video, I am thinking about to get a 2005 Ford Taurus SEL five-passenger sedan with the 3 L Duratec V6 engine, which produces 200 horsepower and the regular four-speed automatic transmission. The 2005 Ford Taurus SEL sedan with the Duratec (24-valve - four valves per cylinder) engine is fairly reliable than a 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan and they handle better than the 2005 Lexus ES 330 sedan. It is also, one of the real fast, large sedans in the American market, with the Ford Motor Company.

Their maintenance service is also not like its used to. The technicians are only there to do routine stuff and are unlikely to find whatever is wrong with the car. The mechanics are still good, but good luck getting an appointment with them. It took 3 trips to the dealer for them to accept my complaint that there is something wrong with the suspension, and finally, a mechanic came for a drive-along and immediately said the suspension is out on the back-left side (then the technicians find the leaky suspension. After the warranty, I just bring the car to a neighbourhood trusted mechanic.

I knew honda was going down for a while now. My daughter bought a used 08 accord with about 130000 miles and it kept going into limp mode! Come to find out the injectors were getting clogged up. I flushed them myself and put them back in. I looked for the fuel filter that's normally on the firewall and couldn't find it! I had no idea that they stopped putting fuel filters on their vehicles! I couldn't believe it! I told her to get rid of it and stick with Toyota only! Its a dam shame that the corporate guys are ruining every car company out there!

toys and their oil burning. like a honda lol. oddly i talked with a dude about his taco. he bought it online, went outta state for it, and loves it. bought it without driving it. im like u got balls lol. then he rented a challenger, loved it and found out it was being sold soon and bought that. to find 2 others rented it before him. and 1 abused the hell outta it. but all works and his loves it. im like u have too much money to waste: P oh and before he had his internet taco. he had a older toy, rusted frame and toy wouldnt cover it. shame

I have a 1998 Saturn SL2 and I use steel seal my car does not have a blown head gasket but it's a older car with 180, 000 miles on it so I just put steel seal head gasket sealer in with the antifreeze once a year because I want to be on the safe side with all the miles and its a old car, I've never had any problems I want to try an get a million miles out of my car if I can my question is what do you think about steel seal head gasket sealer is it a good idea I never had a head gasket problem I just want to be safe with my old car

That's why I just got a 1994 Civic. It's got a B16A engine swap, a manual trans and a bunch of Integra parts. Took apart the interior and cleaned everything. Took care of mechanical issues and right now I am rebuilding the suspension and replacing the bearings and bushings. Should be good for another 300k miles. Completely rebuilding the thing will only cost me a few thousand dollars. Might not be worth what I put into it but I plan on keeping it and using it as a project to keep me busy. It's easy and cheap to replace parts.

That's why I just got a 1994 Civic. It's got a B16A engine swap, a manual trans and a bunch of Integra parts. Took apart the interior and cleaned everything. Scotty, look at a schematic of a Toyota cvt hybrid transmission. They do not have the chain and variable pulleys. They do not vary the speeds between the input and output shafts. So basically a one speed transmission with a reverse, neutral and park. The high torque electric motor combined with the gas engine gives the car enough power to start and accelerate in basically a highway gear. These new cvts in the gas only engines are a whole different animal.

Love all the Japanese car news. It s a shame about Honda s apparent drop in quality. I drive a 2012 Accord Euro (Acura TSX) and it s flawless. Guess I ll think before before considering Honda when upgrading. The Lexus GS model is a glorified IS with fancy interior trim colours. I imagine this will hurt the customer by increasing the price of the IS. Hopefully future IS models get the headlights from the GS because the ones in the IS are ugly as hell!

my housemate have a new honda city (dont know which year) which recently broke b'cos of its automatic transmission failed. he made a joke on my car back then b'cos I used a rebaged car from toyota which is cheaper than his car. tht problem make him depressed for like couple of months i dont know how many money he spend on repairing his car but guys. just dont be proud of yr expensive car if u still rent on other people's property
