I was asked the big boss from Toyota, why the both best car producers, Toyota and Honda could not to at least share together carports, so Hondas worldnet engines buyed Toyota unless Toyota real own designed landcruiser ore perhaps special hybrid engines. And Honda so getting the genius Aisin transmissions. So we would need yust these 2 manufacturer on this planet for a great environment saving and happy customers and we would get the cars alot more inexpensive BUT WHAT crab Toyota with the new supra do? Let the car build from BMW so extremely huge crab. But the money manipulated german medias are happy with it, these say, we would buy us as germans either way never a Toyota, because a bmw is simply a bmw Haha yea, germans always be conceited and arrogant. But secret the expensive high tech hybrid ore other car parts buying from Toyota.

Find an old S-series in good shape. keep in mind the odometers typically break. Have two with over 200, 000 miles. Dont know how far over. odometers both dont work. Repairs are usually inexpensive and the trans usually lasts forever, If the car has trouble shifting into second its typically the valve body (part of the trans) but its on top and can be changed right in the car. Shouldnt cost more than about 600. 00. if it fails. Tough little cars. and yes they will break. but the parts are relatively inexpensive. Footnote, Saturn only really built one car. The S-series with the 1. 9 Liter Motor, all of the other Saturns are built with or by other GM divisions.

Awesome car, but no the best car Honda has ever made from an Enthusiast and drivers experience standpoint. In my opinion, the NSX, S2k, and ITR are the best and in that order. I feel like the Type R just isnt as manual and a drivers experience as past models. With the electronic dampening, and the shift lights, and auto rev matching, its just way too lazy. And I am not a fan of the Direct-injection and single ported exhaust on the K20C1. Limits how much you can build the car without major fab and mod work. Still an awesome car and a great innovation for FWD cars. No one can deny this. Possibly the best performance FWD car ever.

Tip for quick battery/battery tray cleaning. pour a 2-liter of coca-a-cola on top of the battery with it outside of the car, pour another onto the tray as it neutralizes as acid that has escaped. I do it that way because when brushing terminals without fail the crud always gets in my eyes. Safety glasses? Goggles? Neither help. My step dad calls my eyes magnets due to the sheer amount of eye injuries that Ive had not only lately but since I started working on cars & building stuff at age 13-14.

Scotty I had question about catalytic converters and resonators. Maybe if my friends recommended me to completely remove the catalytic converter and resonators because we dont have a pollution code where I live. Pros: Better gasMore powerMore soundIm not sure about the cons, only thing I could come up with was messing up the original flow of the car, or not keep it the it was supposed to be. Please let me know if you would recommend this, why or why not. Thank you

The Type R has gearbox issues plus the paint job is awful on those cars, so light its covered in scratches & many more issues that you wouldnt expect from a Japanese brand. The engineering was so bad it felt like it was more of a Chinese build then a Japanese build. I walked away from Honda since then and Im so much happier now then when I owned the Type R - R. I. P Honda you dont build cars how you use to just like majority of the cars manufacturers today.

I know someone with a Type R who has had hard shifting problems, almost like his syncros are burned out or something, but only in certain gears. I know he knows how to shift properly so I doubt its user error, seems to be a defect. Heard about an overheating issue as well, but my buddy said he hasnt noticed that. If you really want a Type R give it another year, sounds like they have some kinks to work out.

Sometimes when alternator belt ( the rubber belt which turns the alternator) gets to tight it can wear off the bearings of the alternator and same goes to power steering pump and water pump. I have experienced this situation sometime back in my BMW E46 M52TU engine. the factory belt is too tight, so i switched to 6PK5555, it worked all well, and i didnt had to change another water pump as of to date.

Hey Scotty love your videos. Is there a chance you would evaluate the Ford 350 E series Transit Wagons. I want one. It has 128000 fleet driven miles. They stop making them in 2014 for the Transit body and transit connect vans. Hondas and Toyotas are great and all. I actually had a Honda appreciate in value in 1986, but how about throw the rest of us a bone.
