These trucks, being based off the Mitsubishi Mighty Max, were actually pretty reliable. My grandfather put over 400, 000 miles on his before selling it as a beater. Their downfall was safety as was the #1 with all small trucks back then. This is why everything is midsized nowadays, but Ford is set to release a compact truck based off of the Transit Connect van pretty soon. Something about the same dimensions as the earlier Rangers, but (possibly) FWD like the Honda Ridgeline though Im not certain.

I was test driving a 03 grand marquis today and i got in the car and the ac was on & it was blowing cold then i push the temperature up to see how the heat work (which works just fine) but when i brought the temperature back down to the cold air it was still blowing heat and i cut the car and back on and it was still blowing heat would not go back to blowing cold air while on 60 degrees the lowest it would go. What could be the problem?

Driving an old beater can be smart money, with a little mechanical ability, or buddies with same. Many people will say its dumb, but to rebuild or replace a motor or tranny on something like this only costs a few new car pmts, then youre riding free again. Theres only so much to go wrong/fix on old vehicles, then its done for many 10s of thousands of miles.

What am I to make of the name D-Shitty just above trump 2020? Apologies for laughing aloud at 0: 56 the image of 4 squirrels being whipped to run popped into my head. A little dirty? A little dirty I dare ask, is any part clean? It had a squeal well stop whipping those squirrels

I had a 1986 Dodge Ram 50 for 18 years. Never broke down. Never replaced anything other than brakes, plugs, etc. Finally sold it due to rust. One day a lady in a Honda CR-V pulled in front of me at an intersection. Totaled her car and I drove mine home. A fender later I was good to go.

You live and you learn. This young guy has everything to gain by owning this truck. When it breaks, he fixes it, and he will learn along this process on how to work on his own cars and trucks in his lifetime, and save a butt load of money. I know, i did this exact same thing when i was young.

Those ridiculous FED lights are the reason we cant see D-shit when D-Shitty is coming toward us on the road. He thinks he can see great at night but is not thinking about anyone else but himself. Not even an attempt to aim the lights. Scotty, did you watch this video? Disappointed.

Everybody should own a truck like this at least one time in their lives. Ive owned a few for hunting in rough terrain. The beauty was that it didnt matter if it ended up being damaged. The dents and scrapes added to the charm and the memories of the rig.

Its just a re-badged Mitsubishi. The 2. 6Lt Astron motor can be turbo charged if you wish. There are plenty of sites here on YT that show how to modify the motor and many car sites via Google or Face Book that can teach you a fair bit also.
