I drove a 2002 indigo blue Vw gti 1. 8T model car with tan leather interior in Az and notice 6 years lator all my rubber engine hose were deteriorated beyond restoration. All my black rubber chassis bushings turned into oreo cookies. My controll arm bushings rot away & fell off. I pressed in new both L. R. controll arm bushings with english made polyurethane bushings. I replaced ALL hose on 1. 8T engine with blue american hand made polyurethane hose from Eurojet, (made in Arizona) the time i owned my vw golf gti, odometer was only 86, 000 miles on vehicle when last owned.

Doing this will make your cars suspension last foreverExcept it wont. Bushings still age, ball joints wear out, tie rod ends (steering is now suspension) get damaged because idiots find the curb with their tires constantly, ans shocks just wear out. Last suspension eval I did was a Corolla, struts looked good, bushing were good, it was parked in a garage daily, but the shocks were just dead. No secret spray fixes that.

Now thats a good idea. Just put new track rod ends and suspension on my car as the seals and ball joints had tarnished. This might of made them last longer. Heck, car drives like new now anyway. Im on 235/35/19 wheels and tyres, so theyre not much help when it comes to shock absorbing.

As one whose had a leaking rack on an I30(notorious for that) and replaced, hmm lets see, control arms, ball joints, cv boots, struts and blown shocks in my car lifetime, I shall learn to underwash Chicago salt and spray spray spray this sealer. Always love the photobombing kitty.

Is there anything you can put on the outer tire to keep it from dry rotting? Best place to get parts, Rock Auto, cheap AND brand names but almost always, even with shipping cheaper than a store and MOST definitely cheaper than a dealer but still brand names.

Dumb question: Does that rubber liquid work with tires? I mean, sometimes the tires can get old but not worn, but the rubber might dry as the other rubber things. Would that liquid slow aging or is it just a waste of time and/or outright dangerous?

Armor All original protectant protects rubber just as well. I use it twice a year. My 12 year old car, rubber brake hoses, CV joint boots and rubber molding around doors, windows, etc. are still in very good condition. This product is cheaper too.

Scotty and anyone who knows, per the AT205 Re-Seal product description its an additive to engine oil etc to stop oil leak. does that imply the AT205 will cause the robber parts to swell (although not by much, but to some extend? Thanks
