Japanice make the best and most balancet power trains since 1980. Back than their metallurgy was the best on earth, so only they could make heigh raving long stroke engines, which were smuth powerful and economical before the electric gimmicks, cos only they could mass produse leight weight crankshafts. They also showed the world how to properly implement electronics to to car, how to make proper variable valve timing, proper active awd systems, proper direct injection, proper egr cooling system. Japanise not only were among first adopters, they also only people who do these thing write.

Camry TRD 0-60 is a paltry 6 sec. and lateral g's (handling) is an unacceptable, truck-like 0. 86g. This isn't even fast or decent handling for 1970's standards. This is literally the same handling specs of a 1969 C3 Corvette. These numbers are 50 years behind the times. Half a century! Scotty needs to get into a 2019 ZR1 Corvette and somebody give him a decent ride, or a modern Honda Civic. Gets worse gas mileage than a Corvette. Pure junk for suckers. This DI system is not reliable. You won't see these systems in the future.

My mom the other day was talking to me on the phone and she was like Oh crap there is a cop behind me I think I'm about to get pulled over. And she was not sure what she did. Here she didn't stop at some stop sign. i guess she was distracted talking to me. She's in her 60's and has nothing on her driving record. the cop gave her a warning to keep an eye out for stop signs. she was in an area she normally doesn't go. That is most likely how she missed it. She is also lucky that he gave her a warning.

I had a 2014 ford focus with one of those dual clutch transmission. Worst experience of my life. The dealership kept giving me the run around and tell me it's normal. Wouldn't do anything for me and refused to buy it back. I take really good care of my cars and the transmission pooped on me at 110k miles! I was quoted 3500 to fix it. sold that junk as fast as possible and bought a 98' camry. Zero issues! I will never buy another ford or dual clutch transmission!

Scotty, my 2004 mustang gt had only 275 horsepower and was a blast. I imagine this is another level! I'll pick one up, but depreciated.
P. S. please review the corolla hyrbrid. I'm sure not much is different from the Prius review, but we can't forget it's averaging 57mpg in real life use! that's something
edit: the cop should've given the pump the ticket, not you

Why big plastic engine cover?
Costs only cents to make. Nicely formed and finished metal valve covers etc. cost a lot more to manufacture than basic stamped out parts.
Look at the engines on 90s Hondas. They look great.
I bet the plastic covers also deflect heat and noise slightly, but I wonder if on a hot day the car runs better without the cover on?

2nd video on this car. You are making me feel better and better about buying this car. a blast to drive. tracks like its on rails. decent acceleration without the headache of a turbo. Practical when you need it to be. overall a solid value for the money at 31k. Only 5, 000 examples being built this year so it took a while to find one.

In my opinion, the manual shift mode using the gear lever should have you push forward to downshift and pull back to upshift. When you re accelerating, you feel like you re being pushed back, so pulling the gear lever back is more natural. But that s just me. Some cars do that, but only true performance cars if I remember correctly

Ford and VW dual clutch transmissions are the worst ever. VW is worst of the two, Ford will do a software upgrade which wont help. Then its a new clutch pack which will fail shortly after being fitted. Get a proper auto or manual shift. Seen tons of these break up. VW will try ANYTHING to avoid paying.
