1998 Ford F-150 XLT STX Black Styleside, 2 dr, 4. 6 L V8, 5 spd Manual, RWD, 81k miles. New battery, but alternator only puts out 12. 4 vdc, so probably should replace. Tires and spare match with decent tread, No rust on body. Rotors and brakes look good, fluid a little low. Paint good but has patina on top of cab. I checked with Blue Driver scan tool, code history shows miss fires on cylinder 4. Plug wire boot looks worn, potential pin hole as I see a white powder circle on boot. Probably needs new plugs, wires, and coils. Coolant looks slimy, will probably need flush. No issues or noises on test drive. Shifts well, clutch feels good. Interior is clean and in good shape. Cover on power and lighter socket broken. AC works great. They are asking 3k. I figure about 1500 for work I think it needs, so my cost will be 4500. Is it worth it?

Scotty, I know probably won't reply to this, but there is alot of people watching your videos whoare also mechanics or people that fix thier own stuff, or are just tired buying absolute garbage that is shoveled to us on a daily basis. And I remember as a dumb kid, wanting to buy a specific sportscar, and wondering why there was always a puddle of oil under each one I looked at, and listening tothe salesman tell me oh thats normal ( you can figure out which brand I am referring to)So for making these videos, man. Thank you, I know that doesnt mean much. Its been an amazing education so far.

Hey Scotty what do you think on ford pulling all cars off NA? I dont see it as a good idea since sedans arent ever gonna go away especially in the US and if the market crashes and gas prices goes up and they are eventually gonna go up. people are gonna want big family sedans then Ford is gonna miss out on that market and gonna have to redesign and market a new car to the public.

Scotty I have wanted to hear your thoughts on this for a while. I have a 2006 Honda accord euro which in the states are an Acura TSX. What are your thoughts on them? Mine has only 130, 000 kms it's bugger all really and as it's a Honda so engine wise I know the motors are good and the autos can be iffy. I have an auto but I keep regular tabs on the maintenance for it. Thanks

Question: I have a 2004 non supercharged and xterra, it runs and drives great but the other day it just started shutting off while driving so I watched a bunch of videos and did some research. I replaced the fuel pump, filter and relay but none fixed the problem. I also replaced the MAF. Not cheap. Still not fixed. Any suggestions?

Hey Scotty I always read articles about how Mercedes-Benz always makes the most safest cars and pioneered many safety features but my car teacher at school always talks about how Volvo is the most safest car to buy. What car to buy if you want the safest car? Should I follow the magazines tips or my car teachers tips?

You Americans can't make shite anymore. You've got too many women in the workplace. They can't make decisions, they operate on emotions, and what men they do hire and promote are tall tat'd dopes. The proofs in the pudding. All your shite is going to Asia where smart men get things done.

I'm glad some cars you mentioned grandpa kilmer aren't coming back. The Nissan 370Z roadster I'm a little bit surprised but not that surprised. The only reason I thought of it is such is because I don't know maybe some are overpriced and don't always last like the other generation Z's.

I've owned a Nissan Altima in the recent past. Nissan makes horrible and cheaply made vehicles and are only still around because most people think all Japanese cars are reliable and well made. Absolutely not the case when it comes to Nissan. I should've bought a Honda or Toyota instead.
