Super luxurious, lots of space, very sporty, and great to drive. On top of all that, the reliability and safety compared to the GTI and even the Corolla is miles better! Yet another feather in Tesla cap. They shunned dealerships, got sued or something close to that, and dealer owners whined and cried. They wanted to sell Tesla's so they could gouge. This new model Tesla has, that everyone else will HAVE to go to eventually, wiping out the local dealers, is the way to go. for now. I hope all the greedy gouging dealers lose everything. The respectable dealers, well, there are a few here and there, I hope they can get in on the delivery process, maybe be the regional outfit that delivers the new car to the driveway and then sits with the new owner, all smiles and shows them all the features, helps them bond their smartphones, etc. I hope the good dealer owners and employees get a second-life when dealerships go bust.
If Ford is smart (and still around) in five or ten years, when dealerships are disappearing in bankruptcies, they'll investigate which ones rarely/ever gouged and keep them and their integrity, and make them part of the new business model.

I usually agree with you on dealers Scotty but you're wrong on the pricing for the E Mustangs. Haven't we learned yet what happens if you don't have a free market where prices find the happy point between buyer and seller? If people want them that badly and are willing to pay for them, how is that a ripoff? That's what the market says the price is for the car. No one complains when you pay 5000 less than the MSRP, just when they ask more.
It's called capitalism.

Fact is the Civic is as big as the Accord of the late 90's which was already a 5 seater.
Fact that almost 95% of the cars on the road has only the driver inside means that the rest of the space is a waste.
Virtually everyone has a car and gone are the days of sharing and having a full car.
The endless growth in car size, weight and poorer aero dynamics (more SUV's and Trucks) mean the economy is wasted and all environmental gains are lost.

Hi there scotty, Ive had a 2000 mazda protege 1. 6 l engine, automatic, for the past 3 years, runs great except in the cold, It has a Map sensor code, says High range performance circuit issue. It Idles ruff in the cold, but when its 65 f and over outside, it runs fine, could this be an electrical problem, I have replaced the Map sensor and solenoid on it and cleaned out the lines running to the intake.

Sedans in the compact class are just not very popular in some regions in the world. It is not a gigantic car for japanese they just don't buy one of those. They might prefer bigger sedans. The same in europe. In middle, northern and western europe almost nobody buys compact sedans. In Germany you have to search for a Jetta, Civic, Corolla or a Mazda 3 sedan. You just see those as hatches.

I live in Japan so I'm in the know about cars like Honda and many other things. Anyways, I see a few new gen Civics driving around, but its not that popular since most younger folk can't afford to buy one. So, you might get a few 30-45 men buying it, but the BRZ, GTR, and others are more popular sports cars.

Ford should be able to step in and regulate the above MSRP cost of the Mach E because excessive prices can damage the brand. Maybe Ford could prioritise product allocation away from the offending dealerships to send them a message that the customer also belongs to the brand not just the dealership.

So basically they are going to stop selling the Civic in Japan. Yeah, I didn't see any Civics when I was there. An American Civic would be considered huge driving on the streets of Japan. They have a lot of other models which are smaller. Civic wasn't a thing in Japan to begin with.
