Mazda Just Change the Game with This New Engine Patrick: Lol I'm glad Mazda and Toyota are teaming up. Now only if they can get Honda on their side. Honda can make cheap fast cars like the Honda accord that is plenty reliable. Combine that with Toyota transmission. Although Mazda knows how to construct cars too. May be the 3 of them can build a 1 ton truck together

I'm curious on your opinion on a purchase I made. I'm learning to get good at working on a vehicle. I bought a 86 Camaro IROC-Z28. The last owner had installed a different audio system at one point. The original rear sound system is gone. The stereo is gone. The dash is damaged. The Engine and Transmission are rebuilt with less than a thousand miles, 5. 7L 350V8. The front fog lights are missing. The roof liner is gone. The seats are in. There's rust on the metal and rust on the hood. The front left fender is dented in. The left badge on the rear bumper is missing letters. Paint's missing on the front bumper. It's got drag rims and tires but it's done too many burnouts. One of the tires is bald and peeling. A lug nut is missing from both tires. 5 pattern bolt and only 4 nuts on each rear wheel. The trunk latch motor doesn't pull the trunk lid down to close at the proper position. The power windows are slow but work. It's a T top. I'm certain the wipers don't work but I'll have to do some testing.
I paid 4500 for it.
Do you think I got a good deal on it?

Testament to reliability of Fiat. I was parked up yesterday waiting for someone. Newish Fiat 500, (3-4yrs) parked in the next bay. Driver comes back to the Fiat, gets in, it fails to start. Driver makes a mobile call. Then tries again, again it fails to start. Driver makes another call, then tries again. This time it starts but oh dear, the noises the noises. As the car pulls away, the belt is slipping and whistling, the exhaust is white and the engine or something is making a noise like card being hit on the edge of a table. The car grinds into second gear and leaves. The paintwork was shiny and the chrome shone but what was underneath?
On the other hand, my mother owns and drives a Fiat Punto. 16yrs. old bought new and it just runs and runs. Gets 50+mpg (UK gallon) without trying, never fails to start, has been serviced every year and has no problem. Ok it s a basic model, 5-speed manual, no fancy screens, no ABS, it does have a proper spare wheel. but it s a good car. New Fiats though, the dealers can keep them.

Hey Scotty I drive an 03 Chevy Impala and the AC stopped blowing from the vents and instead started blowing from the bottom vents (where one would place their feet. How could I fix this issue?
Also, water started leaking abnormally right under the engine, at the same time the AC issue started. Thanks!

Dear Scotty, Chevrolet Tahoe and other GMC high end cars has a technology of shutting off the feeding of gasoline to the engine cylinders when low power is required. Can the Japanese cars do also what GM is doing on their SUVs to save fuel more. Just for a thought if you can convinced them to do the same.

My family still have an old Ford F-100 with an in-line 6 (300 6. It's been relegated to a back up truck but it runs like a top! I am guessing it has about 500, 000 on the clock with no more than oil changes & occasional tune ups. Oh, & replaced the fuel pump about 5000 ago. That's it!

Scotty my coworker bought her daughter a Jeep Renegade, aka a Fiat 500, and she went through 2 engines because they are so poorly made. After the second engine broke they sold it and got her a Honda Crv. I wish I could have told her about the car before she bought it.

6: 40 SCOTTY! You forgot to tell the customer to rotate the tires! he can do it at the same time as he does the oil changes or every six to eight thousand miles separately.
If he doesn't do it, THE TIRES WILL WEAR OUT AS FAST AS DONUTS INSTALLED FOR WHEELS.

I would be interested in a straight 6 if it had manual transmission driving rear wheels. it could be a mild hybrid operating the front wheels with electricity under 35 mph in city traffic. turn off hybrid when you are not in stop and go traffic.
