Your pups. Take this to the next level. You're never the -alpha-. Your ultimate goal should be to be their -packmate'!
When you achieve this level of understanding then they know your interest is in managing life as well as possible for them, and they'll reciprocate in spades! The alpha's purpose is never to dicate the interests and goals of the pack. The purpose of the alpha is to serve the entire pack's health, safety, and security - even to the extent of sacrificing your own life for the pack.
The alpha always ensures the strength of the pack is in the forward positions. The pack also follows the lead of the wisdom of the ancients - the elders of the pack. Following right behind the elders are the strongest of the pack, ready to fend off any intrusion. Next are the members of the pack that are equally important; the less strong, the younger and future leaders of the pack. Finally, the alpha follows from behind, making sure the entire pack works in unity with a singular goal and be sure no one is left alone and no one is left behind.
I see the formulation of this ideal within you. Maintain your focus. It will serve you well.

Jake your doing a great job in training your dogs -! Your mindset on who's the alpha and who's not is spot on! I have Rottweilers and Pitbulls and they didn't move unless I told them to. You know the public perception with these two breeds, so it's very important to have them under control at all times. I lived on a large farm and we worked on hand signals when the distance was so far they couldn't hear my voice. We would use hands signs, it worked out great. I watch your video's all the time and I'm really impressed with how you and Nicole work together in everything you do, you both have great attitudes and work ethics also. I'm 65 and it does my heart good to see young people who have their heads screwed on right, and are productive people in society. Thanks for your video's! --

I am not a hater-. I love what these guy-s did. Set a great example for many who would like to emulate what they have done.
What bothers me is the click baity pic for their thumbnail titles. Really you-re going to show your partner/significant person to flash some skin and skin tight clothes to get more views.
I get it, she-s very beautiful. I love beautiful women as much as anyone, and she does have a beautiful figure. Im just kinda old fashioned and don-t really think it-s quite appropriate to take very provocative pics for click bait thumb nail titles. She-s not even in this episode. Don-t get me wrong I love the videos because she is such a hot looking woman. Perfect body and great personality and I really love what they are doing off grid. I just don-t like the tease-.

There will always be at least one hater, but don't let them bother you. I am a conservative meat eating Christian and still enjoy the videos. I am also a martial artist and share that passion with Jake. This is my favorite video yet, I like Jake's approach to training the dogs. I appreciate the respect for nature while still being able to use it. Use it, but don't waste it. Respect it and protect it.

Great video! You picked the smartest, easiest to train, loyal, protective, fastest breed of all. I have a female blue Heeler that I rescued when her owner abandoned her when they moved away and just deserted her at about the age of your pups. Mine is 3 yrs old now and the best dog I-ve ever had. I hope Puma and Kai will be with you two for many years to come.

I trained my two make and female siblings. They say never adopt two dogs from dame breed? That's crazy in my mind. I have brother and sister who I've trained with some obedience schooling and they are the smartest, well trained digs who get along and take care of each other.

I know I'm a little late to the party but you inspired me from other videos to get a blue heeler. I had never seen one until I saw your Kai and Puma. But i was going suggest a video of you training and here i found it. Thanks I cant wait to get a Blue heeler puppy!

Jke, you have the best dogs possible to teach like you are doing, I have had Blue Heelers and they are the smartest dogs. they want to pease you. they are so wonderful. thank you for sharing this and the other things you all do. love your videos
