Why People Are Freaking Out About Sofia Vergara, Gordon Ramsay, Jake Paul, & Florida Felons. legonalas: What people seem to forget nowadays is, well yeah maybe women felt like they couldn't speak up before because of the work culture in entertainment, but put yourself in Gordon Ramsay's shoes. He was getting positive, friendly playful reactions that resulted in a casual and a little bit of a joking fun enviroment. If someone gets positive feedback on his/her jokes, which seem to create a fun and playful enviroment, why should he have insentive to stop. Why should we care at all unless the one afflicted comes out with it. People aren't allowed to be loose around friendly situations in the media anymore. Especially now, she can speak up for herself if she deemed it necessary. Also even if she found it uncomfortable but forgot about it completely, why would you be so vile as bringing attention back to it. What's the true problem here is people causing harm to others because they are bored. These people who dig up these old tweets or clips actually go out of there way to find something incriminating about a person just so they can hurt that person in question and make themselves feel superior. You not only try to hurt Ramsay's career, but Vergara's too. By putting them both in the spotlight and splitting there community over nothing.

Usually I'm all for the Me Too movement and stuff, but the way Gordon and Sofia behaved, it seemed very? Friendly? Like, I've actually been watching a lot of Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell lately and Gordon seems to show the utmost respect for women, he only really gets pissed when someone can't do a job and act like someone else is at fault. Also regarding Rahaf, I feel it's incredibly important to note that Australia has some of the worst immigration policies in the world, to the point we had refugees swallowing razor blades to try and get out of the refugee camps. Just because she is safe from death does not mean she is safe.

in relation to the Sophia Vergara and Gordon Ramsay, I think it all depends on how close they were behind the scenes which is something only they may know. I think it's completely normal to tease around like this with a friend or someone you feel comfortable around, but on the other hand, if they are both relative strangers and never even had proper interactions before this, I understand the outrage. My point is, I think it all depends on how Sophia feels around him personally which is something we may never know.

Any woman can see that Vegara is uncomfortable. She's leaning as far away from Ramsey as possible, including when she goes for that hug. Her fake smile, overly cheerful attitude, and subtle hints that he's being a creep are defence mechanisms that women adopt when we are placed in uncomfortable situations like this, but can't say what we're really thinking - for a myriad of reasons, many of which DeFranco just covered.

im pretty sure with Ramsay and Vergara it was an awkward moment, Gordon is Gordon and he was doing a BIT too much especially during a show interview but thats him i guess, you can tell Vergara felt a bit uncomfy especially when he kept going on nd on, but she shrugged it off, i know she doesnt wanna make a big deal out of it, at this point she probably is ignoring it. she's a big girl im sure she's been thru much worse

As a woman, I find the Ramsey outrage ridicules. I, as an adult, find jokes like that funny - they go both ways, you can hit men with them just as easily as women - and honestly, I think it would be very poor indeed if we could not joke and flirt (yes flirt, not trying to get anywhere, being married just joking around, stop being so prude) around. But then again I am European and we are generally not as prude.

Islam stopped killing people who denounce their religion since the 19th century and it wasnt the only main religion done that, however shes going to be killed only in Saudi Arabia according to the Wahabis law they stuck under who also made the world believe that Islam is hard to deal with by throwing such back views, fgs everything about them is wrong and Im telling you that as Muslim

Look at what happened to Hugh Jackman when filming X2. He had to do a nude (running down the hall way after weapon X) scene. he wanted a closed set. They brought all the women out and hid them around a corner and had them throw 1 bills at him when he came running around the corner and saw them. NUDE. Imagine for a moment some guys doing that to Halle Berry.

Sofia should be allowed to speak before anyone should be offended for her. We should be asking her how she felt about it, not prematurely making judgements on her part. It's all about perception. While some may percieve Gordon's actions as offensive it honestly doesn't matter, considering you're not in the situation. It's about what SOFIA thinks not you.

As a Gordon Ramsay fan, I was shocked and disgusted that he acted so disrespectfully towards Sofia, and she looks constantly uncomfortable during that interview, so Im really disappointed in him. However, I do believe people do change, so I await his response to the video. If he continues to stay silent, though, I will stop supporting him.
