My heart aches for Assange. People don't realize it yet bc we're blindly witnessing history but one day that brave honorable ( truth and freedom is always honorable despite character flaws) man will be talked about and admired as the hero that people sadly didn't recognized while he lived. The youth of today don't realize what they're losing bc of technology and how much control the powers that be have, that soo many died to take. Maybe it seems like an exaggeration but it's more of a simile: I see the dark ages returning and people burned at the stake bc they dared to speak the truth. Ignorant bystanders demanding the heretics blood for what they'll call blasphemies and they won't even know any better. Why isn't history pushed down the youths throat? They think they're free but they don't and won't ever know

I'm ashamed of my country. He should have only been extradited to Sweden with assurances that he would remain there until his release as a free man, whatever the outcome of that case. That no such assurances were sought and he was obliged to seek asylum from the UK, a country that has long been a place of asylum for political refugees and those whose only crime is to speak the truth is scandalous. I have no love for him or his meddling, but deporting him to some batshit country where they'll imprison hackers for life and sometimes use the death penalty? Nah, mate. Pretty telling that all talk of Sweden seems to have bloody disappeared now and all. Rape's a crime. Surfing the bloody web is not.

Stonemansteve II Yep, Im thinking the same thing. They wanted this guy dead for ages and this is all about finding a clever way to kill him. Asange commits suicide awaiting trial. Friends say he was depressed for years: His Guilt drove him down a dark path. OR Asange found beaten and shanked in Prison Showers: Two ISIS supporters serving life for other crimes accept responsibility, THE HEADLINES WILL READ. Poor guy. I feel awful for him and I hope he can get out of it. But when the ones meant to protect you want you dead? what. can. you. do? His best option would be to run. BUT he wouldnt get far thanks to todays technology, he wouldnt get far. He needs Michael Scofield.

You're missing very important details in this story. There aren't just claims Julian has been treated inhumanely, it has been officially declared as such, repeatedly, by international human rights organizations and that Julian must not only be released but compensated. The US/UK have been actively rejecting that for years, despite simultaneously and grossly claiming to be champions of human rights. He is under very real threat of being tortured like everyone else the US charges with exposing their blatant crimes against humanity. This is a fatal blow to journalism, human rights and justice all in one event.

I actually watched her ep. because some of her opinions aren't that far fetched, I honestly just think her methods are wrong. She basically just exposed how idiotic Logan and his friends are throughout the entire podcast and it was kind of hilarious how a small girl can take on three egotistical assholes so easily.

Phil, I have an idea for your next show, if I may. Is there an app that prevents previous generation phones being slowed by the manufacturer, just cause the next generation is out. Did a bit of research and came out empty, but I trusts your methods are far beyond mine. Also that slowing down thing seems to come up more and more since, it would seem, it's becoming a new norm.
