Normally offering or withdrawing support for businesses based on their political affiliation (even via ownership) would be absurd. If the different were only in a few bills or the language in some proposals, some vagueness regarding reforms or just what the minimum wage should be doing. But when one considers the quantifiable harm this president has engineered, unleashing Iran's nuclear program, destroying our pacific trade status, internment camps on the border, state enabled criminal acts against detainees and minors and so much more. this isn't the difference between political parties, its the difference between a banal evil and anything else. Everything available, in accordance within the law, should be done to oppose that. It isn't a disagreement over positions and abstract political theories. This administration is actuating real and demonstrable harm on a national and global stage. The country and the world is so much more dangerous now for everyone. It hurts me because there are several companies that I have to eschew because of this. I am really hunting for alternatives now. But I can't say one thing and do something else. I feel like, to some degree, that's what got us here. Well. that and unbridled nationalism.

On Puerto Rico's current who's the next person in line government there is a lot of unrest, frustration and tension. A lot of us have two jobs, have school, other responsibilities and health issues that make it nearly impossible for the majority to be able to be out on the streets manifesting, protesting, being seen. We all find it absolutely necessary, a lot of us feel like we have our hands tied because we cannot physically show up and continue to make it known that what is happening currently is not good for public health and wellbeing. There is a lot of anger towards these political leaders and the greatest threat to our country right now is Thomas Rivera Schatz. He is a puppet master and is conniving. Hopefully we could paralyze everything and make it impossible for Congress, Senate and the Judiciary branches to continue functioning without auditing the absurd debt that lead to Promesa and the oversight board, referred to as La Junta. Ricky may not be in power, but he used those last days to ensure the party is and that those involved in the corruption he is, continue to have their contracts and connections. This is nowhere near over. Sacamos a Ricky, pero faltan muchos.

Lmao trumps racist and is committing mass genocide? When? Where? If hes so racist then who's unemployment stats are at a 50 year low. so its racist to not want people illegally coming into your country? Too bad mexico doesnt feel that way, they'll put ur ass in Mexican prison for that shit, but its racist if we dont want it? All these rich white dems weren't saying shit during the 3 years trump screamed about a crisis at the border, but now they see libtards talking about the crisis and blame trump? Obama's ice chief came out and said it was his administration building and putting kids in dog kennels? And trump put a stop to that shit, and the rich white dems are still pinning it on trump? Sorry folks the numbers speak for themselves trump is the best president we've had in decades, and if u want to see true racism u need to look hard at the left side of the aisle, trump may have some racists who like him, but the Democrats are the true racists and always have been

If people can decide to buy products based on how it was made, where it was made, how it was tested, whether the owner has a similar complexion or background. Yeah. Boycotting a company because of dissimilar political beliefs or because of who they support politically or where it donates its money is completely reasonable. I don't want to wittingly support a company that supports Donald Trump. That's MY choice and MY money and it can go where I want it to, just like that company can spend its money however it wants to.

As a teacher. i am so thankful for people like you who not only help show support for teachers but also aren't afraid to be a voice shedding light on some of the systemic issues we faceThough I personally do not have a list to clear this year since I am fortunate enough to have been able to get the supplies I need through my yearly supply budget (and had a substantial stock pile of other things from years last, I know how thankful teachers everywhere are for the kindness and generosity of people like you. Thank you.

The Whole Equinox thing is just trash. The owner has every right to do as he pleases. This whole political divide is embarrassing. 1 man says he is going to do a fund raiser for a president he supports and every snow flake out there cries about it. Grow the heck up. By trying to destroy a couple companies because the owner supports his current president is a very scary thing. Just remember that if this is how you play the game, then everyone else has the right to play it too.

I think it's a bit silly to chock political differences to just a different opinion, like sure, they disagree with you on taxation or something. But political differences can, and very commonly do reflect a person's/company's views on ethics etc. and if your view is that everyone deserves equal treatment but you financially support a company that doesn't believe in equal treatment, what's the point? Join the trend and become a centrist already, your high horse is waiting.

I love that you mentioned the clear the lists movement that is going on right now. I'm a 2nd year teacher in OK and we are one of the states with the lowest teacher pay. Most of the teachers I know have more than one job to get by. So, this movement has been very helpful for so many people. It has helped me because my wishlist only has a few items left. So, I just wanted to say thank you for helping other educators and for telling other people about this movement.

2: 58 - Now I just have to say, I live in America. We generally are fond of capitalism and freedom, so it's 100% my capitalism-participant-freedom to choose not to use a business or service because I don't like individuals in that business or service. Yes, there are businesses and services I have to associate with such as Equifax. But don't be getting mad when people are choosing not to use your business when they find out your views aren't something they agree with.
